YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED THE YOINKING GAME YET! STOP MAKING FALSE CONCLUSIONS!“343 change this”, “343 change that”. What? WHAT! How can you request a change if you haven’t played the game yet?! It’s like asking an author of a book to change bits and pieces of his book before you’ve even read it!
Let me tell you, Halo 4 could fail utterly. Yes, it’s a possibility. But any game coming out this year could fail. The developers of the game aren’t going to just tell “this game SUCKS”. Why would they spend thousands and thousands of dollars on a game and purposely make it a bad game. Who gives a yoink if the sniper isn’t a “copy and paste” from Reach? Who cares if the music isn’t exactly the same as Marty’s work? You aren’t making the game. You aren’t spending the sleepless nights working your butt off, for Halo 4!
I could go on forever arguing, but it’s a waste of time. Give 343 a break. They are trying to accommodate you, but they also want to experiment with Halo 4, cause it’s a new trilogy. No more Bungie, it’s 343. New company. But this company was created because of one game. Halo. They want Halo 4 to be a success just as much as you.

I think the sniper rifle looks ugly. I dont need to play the game to see it. But thats not the start of it.
(I read something like this elsewhere but i cant remember it word for word). I want to order a pizza. I eat alot of them, and have eaten enough in the past to KNOW that i absoultely HATE mushrooms. They are just disgusting. Therefore, when someone tells me they are going to put mushrooms on my pizza whether I like it or not, Im not going to support it nor will I likely pay for it.

Rather than type out a long post (because it’s not worth the time over a troll / fanboy), I’ll leave it at this:
Keep the unneccessary and game breaking elements from other games out of Halo.
People like myself want Halo.
It’s called Halo 4, but right now it doesn’t look like Halo.
Once again, change for the sake of change is a bad idea. People obviously didn’t like change with Halo - see Reach.

Who’s to say the ten percent aren’t just butthurt because Reach was a flop for them and they’ve lost faith?
me.
IMO the ten percent are the only people here with the ability to form a coherent argument. We’ve won the “bloom is not spread” argument, we’ve won the “adapt” argument (even though people refuse to believe it) and those are just two off the top of my head.

Yes, I catch your drift. But you’re saying 343 is bringing back “mushrooms” to Halo 4… but what exactly? From what we’ve seen, Halo 4 has faster gameplay, no more armor lock to slow down gameplay, BR is back, etc. So what exactly are they bring back that you know you hate? Okay, so what if the sniper is ugly. It matters on the feel of the gun.

I didn’t intend it to be, nor do I see any way you could possibly be offended by it, other than a need for a comback.

Maybe they are. But more often than not, every time I see a person who is concerned put up a reasonable arguement, everyone gangs up and flames him.
You can’t tell me you’ve never seen this happen before. It happens all the time.

QFT i don’t know how people can blindly defend the game even after we have seen the gameplay with perks, killstreaks, EVERYONE using Promethean vision because without it you are instantly at a disadvantage, and how unbalanced the main precision weapons are right now. i remember the fan boys spamming “have you seen any gameplay??” and now that we have they will keep spamming “you haven’t played the game! halo 4 looks amazing!” every time someone posts their concern for the game.

I agree 100%, the fanboys have set up a double standard for themselves and there are so many that we can’t even do anything about it before our threads get derailed into oblivion.
In my eyes Halo 4 looks like the GOTY for me this year.
The only things I can think of that I don’t like is the look of the sniper, instant re-spawns and that Cortana looks way too real.

343 picked the wrong Halo game to copy. Of all the Halo games, they go with Reach to copy. Its the biggest mistake they could make.

copying isnt the word to use. They are taking ideas from reach but they are also taking ideas from prior halo games as well.

Im pretty sure you have got that backwards look at this forum 9 out of 10 posts are 343 you suck or 343 you have ruined halo its not very often where you see one saying they like 343 for doing what they are doing.

i think its the other way around but i do agree that people who criticize the game get flamed but so do those who support the game
