Its a fair gamble to say that lots of people have fallen out of love with Halo Reach. If thats the case, you may have forgotten a little number called Halo 3.
If youve heard the last disgusting headshot-death sound you can bear, get away from it all. Harken back to a time of no bloom, balanced weapons and dual-wielding. Go back to Halo 3. Like wine, it only gets better with age.
Reach and Halo 3 fill gaps between one another. If you want a change, switch CDs.

You dont understand. Both of them are good games, and have different positives and negatives. I cant tell you to do anything, but I can remind others that its not all about one thing.
That would be the best thing that could happen for both games, Reach could get rid of the people that dont like it and they could save Halo 3 from the meteoric drop its most likely going to take.
Three months ago, the Reach haters predicted its demise, I believe they were mistaken, the game that is dying is Halo 3, better go visit it in the hospital, before well you know, the plug gets pulled =/ sorry.
Why would you play an outdated game? Why not continue supporting the studio that will be bringing the next-generation of Halo? As of right now, they are testing Reach’s TU gameplay as a foundation for Halo 4. I didn’t say Halo 4 will be based on Reach, it’s more of 343i’s analysis on what good gameplay should feel and play like.

AND YOU, SER. Did you not enjoy Halo 3? Has it somehow lost its quality now that it’s not the latest? I expect you haven’t actually played it for a year or so, because you forget ser. Halo 3 is more fun that you care to admit.
The problem with plaing playing Halo 3 is that it’s soooo laggy so I decide to play reach but it just doesn’t feel challenging so in turn I go to my mistress (Batttlefield 3) and play with her.

It was very fun. It was an amazing game, no doubt. But certain qualities of the game… Irk me. Plus, I want to support 343i.
And, Halo 3 lost its quality because it’s not as adaptable as Reach.

Exactly! As much as I’d like to see the usual Halo traditions continue, I really want to see 343i do something unique with the new trilogy.
It’s like with the CoD series; once you start including the same stuff in every game, without changing or adding anything new to it, that unique line between every game starts to blur and it just becomes boring to play.
Halo 3 matchmaking was good until the modders invaded lone wolfs so now its just who has the best mods plus the netcode sucks. Custom games and reach mm ftw. Wish 343 made a final update for halo 3 and kicked modders :’(
Obviously Reach is the more popular game as Halo Reach was the fourth most popular game on Xbox Live in 2011 (If you exclude those awful CoD games keeping the top 3, then it’s number one) and Halo 3 is seventeenth so obviously Reach is more popular with most people.
Blizzard regularly changes their games (games which are featured in MLG too) yet nobody complains about those changes. They most likely complain about balance issues but they don’t complain about the overall game changing differences (eg Medics).

H3 kept top place, or 2nd, for 3 years.
Reach held it for 3 weeks.
MW3 logged in more UUs in 1.5months than Reach did all year…
I never got much live experience with halo 3 i got live very late in the game so i never got a high skill so now when i pop in halo 3 i can never find a game cause of the skill thing. so i stick with reach cause its all social

No point in going back to Halo 3 as good as it was. The game wasn’t perfect; none of the Halos were. In fact that 3 BR is inferior to 2’s BR soooo yeah…but Halo CE did have the best sandbox IMO sans super OP grenukes (which make Reach’s grenades seem balanced) and worthless Needlers.
Halo 3 has had it’s time. People already gave their feedback to make the game into what it is now. Instead of encouraging of going back to a game no one supports anymore, it’s better to get gamers involved with the community and provide feedback (even if you like Pre TU settings, which causes me to rage but that’s your right or if you like TU settings) to support THE CURRENT GAME. Which is called Halo Reach.
