Hate rushing?

I had a time I build up a big army first and attack with my tanks/planes or mixed army after 6/7 minutes. But I hated I was attacked before I was ready. So I begone to defend. Turrets or Marines. But when the are not rushing I had made this for nothing. So I think about it. What is the best defense AND not useless after? Attack! The best defense is attack. So I do rushing my self a bit. And I am not rushed ever again. I use the first units u can build. The wartogh. I build a least 5 and update them with gunner and start attack the enemys base. Kill his warthogs first if he build them to. I keep building more wartoghs and upgrade them to gradenier and keep building more. If the enemy base is defensed good with turrets or units and you lose to mutch wartoghs or you destroyd a building (or 2) u stop attacking the base and go clearing a base. Set up the base and dubble pump warthogs now. From now you can make the stronger units you like. I would go for tanks aganst UNSC or flames against Covy. AND I upgrade the warthogs to Gaus. This method is more active and make you a better player because you have to micro from the beginning and learn from it. Because you have to choose to when you have to retreat or when you can stay and keep attacking. Because you need to be aware of the leader power and micro them around. Because you need to kill the enemy units with your fragtile units. So turn the game around and go hunt and not be hunted. Just dont think you can win the game with you couple of warthoghs. U need the stronger units with help from the second base while you keep dominating the map. And dont give up after losing your game with this. You need to practice with this active playing. And the cat and mouse game is importand to. When he is somewhere on the map with his army and you attack his base he will return. This give him a trow back in travel time. Good luck you all. See you in a warthog battle

How to counter EVERY rush when playing as unsc:

Build gunner hogs.

Lies. I tried that against the Grizzly rush and it didn’t work.

Grizzlys arn’t much of a rush ¬_¬

And yeah. Hogs are the way to go for UNSC early game, usually followed by tanks tanks and more tanks. Also OP, mind using the enter key to break up your wall of text just a little?

Didn’t read any of it, but I always go factory second ghosts and you can have like 10 by the time they get to your base, you simply go to their base and out damage them, blow up your factory(still on a keep) and build a summit for engineers.

Please, having an interest in saving the game would be a benefit for all of us.

lol sorry (still not reading it cuz idgf im tired, but ill give advice), UNSC goes warthogs and camps opposing lift, I believe you go reactor 4th if you expand as cutter and reactor 3rd on a non expansion map your covenant depending which leader and which opposing leaders should rush or defend. Vs a chieftain your arby/ prophet will want to go T3 defense, while if you are a chieftain T1 offense, buildings brute squads and effectively picking up all the closest money to your base with your chopper, if you are playing with anders you can go gauss and banshees(my new favorite strat) with cutter tanks/ banshees and same with forge. GG 40+ trueskill(easily)

Grizzly rush? LMAO. WTF? If someone gets Grizzlies and you still don’t have any units, you deserve to get destroyed. lol. wtf?

Its called sarcasm you half-wit. Your brain must be too small to grasp the concept. I forgive you bud.

…And that is why Anders is so powerful! As well as Gremlins and cheap upgrades, she can also pump banshees from her Air Pad. It’s so difficult to stop her because Warthogs and Banshees are the fastest units in the game so you can get around the map really quickly. One thing that I like to do with Anders is go quick gauss and then pump out a couple of banshees. Once I’ve got this Army then I will tend to make Vampires and engineers (to heal my Warthogs). I find it to be a great strategy. Late game, especially in 1v1, I will tend to go for a mix of Hawks with Scarabs. With my build you can have three Scarabs and 15 Hawks on the field within about 6 minutes (on a non-hook map). Anders is truely the most powerful leader in the game (especially when she is in rage mode).

No, no. When playing Anders, going for Vultures first is key because their upgrade researches so quickly and getting Reserves is a breeze. Then, you have to spam Ghosts to block the Marines from getting close enough to Rocket your Vultures-- shield-Ghosts are incredibly effective at taking Canisters too, so your Ghosts can just steamroll the Tanks when you’re Vultures are wasted by their Carpet Bombs.

I favor upgrading my Rage early on if I’m Anders to be able to react with the appropriate emotion when I’m rushed by those rushing -Yoinks!-. Also, did you know that Anders’ gender causes her Spartans to be weaker than Forge’s and Cutter’s? It’s a fact.

I’ve beat all those strategies with my superior base micro.

> I’ve beat all those strategies with my superior base micro.

Reactor micro is key.

But, my base-lock micro will blow any rush out of the water.
