Hate Mongers In Halo Infinite

I’ve had the misfortune of atleast once a day meeting the people that no matter how good you play or what you do they will do ZERO callouts and then constantly talk garbage to you the entire game…its almost like there is people that want halo to fail and log on just to terrorize the community.

First time playing a game?

You’re probably one of the cowards spreading this ish. You’re talking about it like it should be some normalized thing. well grow up kiddo. its not normal to intentionally condescend and put down other people. Go be a human for a change.

That tends to be what happens when people get competitive in some cases.

Lmao all I said was “first time playing a game?” And you’re assuming I’m one of them funny… You’re toxic bub

THIS IS WHY I’VE ASKED FOR OPEN LOBBIES & OPEN COMMUNICATION. Ugh, it’s ruined the community for Halo without this.

Had a match on highpower where someone was raging in voice chat about us losing, while at the same time camping the wasp spawn.

I mean… that’s just the F2P aspect.

That’s amazing.
My teammates don’t talk 99% of the time, and when they do, it’s to:

  • mock me writing “gg” because of the game’s text-to-speech (“that guy sounds like a robot”, “G. G.”, etc.) and apparent lack of text chat on consoles.
  • sincerely reply “gg” (“gg!”).
  • complain about how bologna the match is going (classics such as “-Yoink!-!”, “-Yoink!- it!”, “How the -Yoink!-?” and “This game is -Yoink!-!”).

However, as I said, that’s only 1% of the time, it’s mostly at the end of the match, and the third example is the least common.

I wish my teammates would talk more often, even if only to talk garbage about their teammates.
The game would feel a lot less lonely.
That’s how it was back when Halo 3 was popular.
Now it feels like I’m playing with and against bots.

It’s not really a good thing, but if you’d played multiplayer games since the 2000s, you’d know it’s rather normal in online video games, especially for FPS and TPS games.
Consider how common it is for players to crouch after defeating enemies, and you’ll understand that the community has always been like this.

They should just allow for the ability to choose whether or not to play with people without mics, or only those with mics. I remember when Halo was literally EVERYONE had a mic, if you didn’t, you were the odd-man out. Nowadays, I have to cry out ‘mic check’ at the beginning of a game, and 5 minutes later someone will say, hey I had to find my mic since you have a mic!.. seriously? THAT is how bad the community is now, because YOU REMOVED THE ABILITY TO TALK TO EVERYONE, AND HAVE MADE THIS GAME INTO A SHELL OF WHAT IT ONCE WAS.

Probably just some low energy trash talk the way you put it. It’s nothing compared to Halo 3. Halo was better that way.

Halo 2 was fantastic in that it was unfiltered, and raw. It was fun. You could mute people if you disliked what they were saying, but all in all, it was far more fun.

First time online a game system outside of Nintendo or Google Stadia?

People always got Yoinkadoink to say online, especially those who take the game 500% too seriously and have an ego that won’t allow them to state their own faults.

Woah people are using the anonymity and safety of the internet to harass others??? This is a completely new concept and can be easily remedied byMUTING THEM

Now now, we both know that we can’t do that, because it would require the initial situation of seeing the problem, and dealing with it on your own. We don’t do that here. cough
