Just out of curiosity how many of yall get hate mail just for being HR (high rank) or inheritor.i myself think its funny theres not a day that goes by that i dont get stupid msgs like you have no life or your a noob or get betrayed for no reason.Honestly Trolls or Maggots which i like to call them never stop unless you block em.
I think it’s hilarious and I recieve them daily from kids that I upset by destroying them.
The few times I do happen to get on Halo:Reach i do get ridiculed by several people of me being a Nova.
I don’t see what they accomplish by calling me a “No life” and such.
Though I’ve met some more radical vulgar people before who have said things i cannot mention here, that really surprise you in how the Community has developed without any supervision of the Ban hammer.
(sigh) We need caring leaders to wipe out the existence of such players.

yeh i hear ya, i started getting them back in July 2011 when i hit Inheritor, then came the non stop betraying game after game and then came the “oh u have no life, go outside and see the sun” comments when i have a full time job and own my own house lol.
Im glad to say it rarely happens now but damn it was getting old.
i just think people are jealous of something they haven’t got and tend to turn into online warriors.

Halo: REACH is by far the most tame of the Halos when it comes to online smack-talking. You must have never played Halo2 MM.

my buddy thought the same until he just got his Inheritor last week, since then he has been a target
I only get hate mail for beating them by 35-40 points every slayer game. 
I wish I could have a meaningless validation of the time I have wasted.
My friend gets me hate mail because he will shoot people until their shields pop and sometimes betray them just because. We share an account since he ran out of live.
I usually just get friend requests from people with low ranks.
First and only hate mail I’ve had was when I was a general, and then wiped the floor with 4 of the people on the other team with AL, same game I un-splattered a mongoose.

I can’t say I’m looking forward to reaching the picture ranks in Reach because of the noobs that get annoyed when they suck at the game, however haters are going to hate. Only thing to do is move on, laugh it off.

Only messages I get are people recognizing me from the forums. 
I guess I’m not good enough to get hate mail. The only hate mail I’ve ever gotten was NOOB when I did badly in a game of Arena (which also happened to be my first game that day).
I get hate mail every once in awhile, haven’t got any mentioning my rank (Forerunner) or anything like that yet though. Should be reaching Inheritor within a couple months, not looking forward to the hate, but it shouldn’t be too bad for me as Halo 4 will be out shortly after.
I don’t recall fully, but I believe that the only type of people I’ve recieved hate mail from are British kids. One guy said “why do you live” and I just ignored it lol.
I’m a reclaimer and get no such messages.
