This morning I was playing a nice Big Team Slayer game, and later on during the game, were losing and next thing I know, teammates leave, giving the enemy team a foothold in several strong points throughout the map.
Except the Mantis, which was odd.
Do you really hate it when the game is ruined because your teammates leave because they think they suck, they think we are delaying the inevitable?
And for the record, I have seen this happen in Halo 3 and Halo: Reach.
Yeah, it’s annoying when my teammate leaves right as we’re starting to loose. You would think your team would work together more if they thought they were losing.

I play FFA now unless I have my friends or family on and then I can rely on my team. My little nephew is pretty good now and he’s my multi-team partner now

Dosen’t bother me unless the team mates are good but that is like rare.
It’s always happened and always will do unfortunately.
I always remember one game in H3 where the rest of my team quit early on in Shotty Snipers on Narrows. We were only about 7/8 kills down. Anyhow, I camped the game out at the back of the map with the shotty and let them come to me. I lost the game something like 50/40, but my KD was IMMENSE Got my first Running Riot in that game too
Even got a message from one of the other team congratulating me for holding out!

A group of randoms without mics working together? lol
I honestly don’t care one way or another. I only go into MM by myself so I expect to lose most of my games so it doesn’t really bother me. The only time I get annoyed is when I start losing 4-5 in a row.

I don’t use a mic personally, but I don’t try to lone wolf it all the time. Sometimes I’ll just pick a random teammate and try to be there back-up.
I think it gets more annoying when you start losing members and they don’t get replaced at all.

Too bad it doesn’t work correctly 80% of the time. Still JIP ctf games where my team is down 4-0 or 4-1. Still JIP slayer games where we are down 30+. Don’t get JIP for teammates when it’s 3vs3 ctf at the beginning of the game lol.
Perhaps the most histerical part of JIP is that sometimes, one team gets all the players and the other gets none lol. I noticed this in big team skirmish the other night, game started at 8v8, it was 6v5 by the time game actually started. My team got 1 and then a another 1. It was 8v5, the 5 never got the JIP all game (it was a short one obviously lol).
That’s why they installed JIP in halo but it needs to be fixed. They should make it so JIP will stop after 1 flag capture and you won’t join a game if your team is about 100 points down for slayer.
OT: I despise it when people leave. Worst of all people don’t talk so how am I going to win if no acts like a team. I will be lucky if my clan is on halo 4.
The only maps where an absent or incompetent team will cause me to straight up leave is Exile or Settler and Ragnarok due to the impossibility of effective guerrilla warfare. Otherwise, I’ll have plenty of fun playing hide-and-seek with a DMR or assault rifle.
It’s annoying… but I try to make the most out of it. I think it’s more irritating for the other team when there’s not much to shoot at if you ask me.

Well, usually I stay and fight. I will not back out just because some people left.
Sometimes, I win without a whole group either because we worked well or I kept killing everyone.
I agree, it’s especially worse in Big Team, and the constant black screen gets annoying.
Also, playing Big Team without mics is pretty annoying.
