> There is flaw in your thought pattern. Sometimes people don’t know what they want. Do you think there was a massive outcry for grifball when it was first introduced back in halo 3? People didn’t know they wanted it. I’m not claiming this applies to the rally hog, but you can’t ‘just give people what they want’ and expect them to be happy.
That was the past. People now know a few things they want, and a few things they wanted that we have now.
For example : we didnt have detailed post - game carnage report, and we disliked the color options for our spartan and emblem. They gave it to us, and expected to make us happy, because its what we wanted for sure, and we’re happy with it.
Your logic implies on a demand for something that was never known until it was released to the public. Of course, back when halo 3 was out, there wasnt a demand for a gametype that was unheard of until Bungie released it through an update. There seems to be a flaw in your pattern.
A actual Social playlist is a known thing in previous halo games, that isnt present in Halo 5. People want it to be in halo 5, so they can, for example, play slayer for fun, and not with and against competitive players. Thats a demand on something that is real, not like griftball when no one knew what it was in your example for halo 3.
And sure theirs a few social gametypes, such as btb, but putting social gametypes In a competitive playlist means there will often be sweaty players no matter the playlist, except maybe griftball. Thats a main reason why this game, by casuals, is viewed as too competitive.
If im wrong, you’d be implying players who want to have fun only and not take it seriously, which is a alot of us, would be displeased to have a social option outside of warzone. Not everybody likes warzone or its req system. For example.
