They banned his name essentially after years of use.
Nak3d Eli is awesome, can’t believe his gamertag got banned.

Yeh it’s a real shame, I can kind of see why but to see that he’s just lost motivation to do something that he both loves and is good at is sad. He put the game in a whole new light and hog tutorials are the reason I got helioskrill and the solo legendary campaigns done ( for repeating levels that the buggy piece of crap didn’t log -_-)
The appeal and help system with Microsoft seems great, polite and helpful, until you actually need a fix and not somebody to read the troubleshooting steps out for you. They have no real power so I really feel for him having to go through that

Lol I don’t think Nekked would get through, but probly the other ones. I’ve seen some pretty nasty gamertags, but that one really isn’t that bad.

I hate how MS has cracked down on language and such in the past few years though. What happened to saving themselves the time and effort with that “online interactions not rated by the ESRB” message on the box?
I don’t even know what to say.
I’m sure any child on the internet has heard far worse words than “naked”. In fact it’s not even uncommon for naked characters to be a source of humor in children’s media, I can already think of a few examples right off the top of my head. So who exactly is Microsoft protecting with this?
Sure it’s not exactly a dinner table appropriate word, but it’s definitely not a swear either. What’s next, is Microsoft going to start censoring the words “toilet”, “butt”, and “stupid”? Even more bewildering is that the word naked isn’t even censored on this, the official Halo website.
Only two explanations I see here. Either Microsoft has gone off the deep end with their censorship, or they pulled a reason out of their -Yoink- just to put this specific person out of the picture.
At any rate we should raise as much drama about this as possible, because this is just bull -Yoink-.

Wow, yoinking robots at Microsoft
So “obviously” it seems like someone’s got to rework the policy. There are a ton of gamertags that probably have “-Yoink!-” in them in some way that are gonna get banned, also, the fact that Microsoft has actually supported Eli’s stuff means that there is no personal problem between the two. It’s probably an algorithm that got his gamertags banned, so hopefully they can fix this. (they being Microsoft employees)
Or it’s some guy at the Xbox Live “enforcement” team because we all know how strict they are with things.

Exactly I cannot see the logic in what they have done, Eli was a valued part of outer community and it seems that due to this policy he won’t be anymore. ={
