I’m seeing a lot of people commenting on here about getting red rep and not being able to find games.
I’m just wondering if the reputation system is having the desired effect on Halo 5 griefers.
Has anyone had second thoughts about camping in the core room next to the core without trying to destroy it in Warzone in order to spawn kill the defenders?
Has anyone reduced the number of deliberate betrayals in Grifball?
Has anyone stopped ground pounding or shoulder charging teammates to deliberately annoy them?
Has anyone stopped going AFK or habitually quitting? (or did 343i’s banhammer make you stop this anyway?)
Let me know if the threat of red rep has made you think twice about doing certain things in Halo 5.

Are you suggesting someone should act like a decent human being? I’ve never heard such a thing!
On a more serious note, I’m fully in favor of there being consequences for bad actions, however people should (in an ideal world) refrain from bad behavior due to the fact that it is wrong and harmful to others rather than because there are consequences. It’s kind of sad that some people’s moral development is at such a state that rules and consequences are the only reason they might treat other people with respect.

I’ve played a couple of companies where the top guys had “avoid me” or “needs work.” It hasn’t changed their actions one bit. We got capped, trapped then splat.

Yeah, unfortunately I think some people have found ways of finding games with green rep players despite their red rep ‘avoid me’ status.

Everything but this sounds like people are simply whining if they report for something as trivial as those. I can understand reporting for this though, even though I still think it shouldn’t be done.

I agree…accept for the fact that these are mostly minor and rare annoyances that honestly don’t deserve someones multiplayer access removed, it also has nothing to do with being a decent human being as your not harming anybody but simply annoying them which is something that can’t be completely cut out and doesn’t need to be.
The bold: You do realize there is zero respect when people stop doing certain stuff but simple fear from people who purposely exploit the reporting system even if something minor happens.

They have, and what you do normally has the opposite effect as people take there rage out on more people because of their circumstances.

Yes, I’m wondering if people are stopping the trivial offenses as well because they’re worried about their rep.
I think some people are too quick to use the report tool sometimes, mind you, you shouldn’t do things to annoy other players!
Red Rep requires a lot of negative reviews, not just a few, a whole -Yoink-ton of negative reviews, and they are usually given to people in Companies.
You know, because people tend to see everyone in Companies as farmers.
Only thing I have to fear is Spartan Charging aholes who Charge their own teammates… Is it just me, or has there been a huge rise of these aholes the last few days? They seem to be everywhere now… I wish 343 would make you immune to all friendly Charge effects, damage, knockback, all of it.

That is exactly what they have been doing. I get loads of invites from these guys. I’m not sure how bad ppls reps get because of a single game (H5 vs. BF4 vs COD etc.) but H5 seems to have it’s fair share because of Achilles. Friends will always get together to hammer some noobs but having to belong to spartan companies in order to get Achilles put H5 on that path to a lot of these problems unfortunately.
-BTW shermit always has good posts.

except, doesn’t, you’re, commas man.
The actions in blues post are people griefing. People actively attempting to ruin the experience and enjoyment of others for their own enjoyment. Yes, that is harming someone. You are intentionally causing someone distress and discomfort. Whether this discomfort and distress is minor or not is a matter of perspective and also irrelevant. People who do this do deserve to have their multiplayer access removed. They are harmful to the other people playing the game and the community as a whole. People are not abusing the report system by reporting people for these behaviors. That is what the report system is for. I’m guessing from your self-centered view and chronic spelling errors you are a child. I hope that as you grow up, you’ll realize that harming other people intentionally is wrong and you shouldn’t act that way.
AFKK people I charge into them or friendly AI. The AI won’t do anything. The AFK players wouldn’t do anything either. I don’t betray people oneed purpose. But when I accidentally betray them a few times I’m out. Spawn killers in Grifball are annoying too.

This happened to me this weekend. Two of my teammates were obviously partied up and started betraying. I got spartan charged (died) so I immediately go on the hunt for the guy. His teammate tried to charge me and missed, i sniped him in the face, was then able to kill the original betrayer, and got one of them again. i got kicked. Bad rep or not I’ll play it like that every time lol. Eye for an eye when it comes to betrayals.
It’s ridiculous how the community is now a bunch of low life greefers who just camp at spawns and kill you without a care in the world but hey why would they they get kills but you get negative rep for talking back to them
I’m yellow rep and all I do is win all the time on MCC. People must report me a lot so that sucks but nothing you can do and so far no extended search times that I can tell

I have 8 reports of cheating on my account. Idk how to cheat on Xbox one. Is winning and beating them cheating? I thought winning was the main goal of the game.
this generation of kids and teens are just soft… Can’t take a loss and are ultra PC which takes the fun out of everything.

That was a long time ago I’m taking recently. That was grey area. In the last week or two. When playing with friends/company in warzone and wza. I play enough games to counter those reports lol
people are sensitive in 2k16. They will report you even if you just have more skill than them. iF anything its gonna encourage me to destroy my enemy and make them hate me. Be it just skill with killing or spawn trapping like in grifball
