Well from looking at the screenshots, you can see that Slayer appears to be following the COD method of having points decide who wins, rather that X number of kills. If you take a look at this GIF, Link you can see the player’s team getting 10 points after he gets the kill.
Personally I HATE the way COD handles “deathmatch” It just needs to be first to 50 kills. None of this 290-260 BS.
I just hope slayer is based on kills only, not how you got the kill.

Looks like You get points based on what medals you receive.

Agreed. I hope it’s just first team to 50. Not first team to 750 points or something. But owell, just glad the BR is back. As someone mentioned earlier, they are “playtesting” so they may be getting a TON of kills with an unlimited limit.
Well in Call of Duty TDM kills are the only things that count towards your teams score. Other points like assists count towards your personal XP, but not the team’s overall points. Maybe the points in that GIF are for the “progression system” or whatever.
Nice spot…I missed that. It does seem to be based on the medals you get during the game. So, different medals give different point values (ie a headshot medal is worth 5 points, and a killing spree being worth 10).
I must admit, I like the standard kill scoring system. But, this might be an attempt by 343 to somewhat level the playing field for teams who have had people quit. Rather than just being annihilated, the remaining non-quitters still have a chance to make the game competitive.
I won’t be playing it any different so I don’t see why.
But doesn’t CoD offer points to the game score per kill to the match and any flare/style points just go to your character and not the game?
And since BF works of a ticket-system, that would mean those “points” don’t count towards your game score, only you personal leveling up score.
