Not sure if it’s me or the new controller I just bought but I find that frequently in a match when I’m turning my spartan it goes from high sensitivity to super low sensitivity and crawls across the screen for a second or two before speeding up again. Happens with my spartan but mainly when I use the banshee. Is this happening to anybody else? or could it be my controller malfunctioning…
I know it has nothing to do with my controller settings I’ve had them the same for 2.5 years and never had this issue.
I was going to bring up the controller settings, but you answered that question. You could try tweaking the settings, to try to match the actual tuning with the old controller + settings.
It is very strange, did you happen to get a different type of controller? Or is it a new controller, of the exact same model.
It sounds like you’re experiencing the slow turn/heavy aim that is in Halo 5 and has nothing to do with your controller. I would suggest changing your inner/outer dead zones which might help it a little bit but unfortunately its been a glitch in the game for awhile. I thought for sure they had fixed this issue several months ago but I guess not.
Welcome to the club , heavy aim a major glitch never to be fixed within halo 5 try a smurf account and see if it’s the same on there as that was advised in the heavy aim thread .

It’s also a huge issue for me since I play on max sensitivity all the time. Maintaining spatial awareness is part of my playstyle, but having to experience heavy aim really impacts my performance as I tend to be the “danger close” type.
