Oh I have no doubt in my mind that Halo 4 will definetly be keeping the classic gameplay. What I do think however, is that they are trying to add in the best of each and every single Halo game currently out, and making it into 1. Of course, thsyd ehst I think of what is goin on.

I think the halo campaign needs the new additions. I know many won’t like it but the game play should still stay very relative.

Except all of the complaints are about gameplay, not meaningless things like looks.

I suppose so, Would be quiet amusing if it was kinda like an open world to it. Kinda doubtful, but searching around to uncover all kinds of secrets in the new world be quiet amusing.

I don’t think anybody has a problem with the campaign. 343 will deliver a fantastic product there. They’ll probably have some sort of classic playlist or two for MP anyway.
It’s good to know they’re going to be supporting both ends of the spectrum when it comes to Halo’s community. I like the fact that they’re bringing new things to Halo and it should be neat to try them out, but there will always be the odd time I want to play Halo in it’s original settings (or the closest they can get to the original settings).

Yes, complaints about a whole 15-20 seconds of gameplay they only showed one weapon used and only showed small portions of two maps…yes, those complaints are very logical. Or you mean complaints based on gameplay elements that have not been demoed yet and have only been spoken about. those complaints?

Really? Even Halo 2 didn’t have all the things Halo: CE had, it didn’t even have a 3sk Magnum. How do you expect 343 to put everything you love about Halo in and take everything you don’t like out. Everyone ha different opinions and the whole goal of the game is to cater for as many people as possible.
That’s what Bungie said about Reach and look how that turned out. You do know its his job to say what people want to hear right? It’s a business. He’s trying to sell copies, not make friends or win honesty points. I’m not saying he’s lying but some of you need to be a lot more skeptical of an obviously biased source.

Aside from AAs and Loadouts, which were new, Halo Reach is probably the one true sequel to Halo CE.
Health Meter, OP grenades, effective 1 shot weapon, campaign similarities, etc.
It was classic in that sense, but we will have to wait and see.
Although, you are right, it is their job to tell us what we want to hear.
i like what i see and frankie mentioned that a single shot weapon will be in the game as well im guessing the dmr im not a fan of it but i cant wait to out br the dmr kids >:D

Can’t be perfect, mate.
Now all we will see is threads saying “YAY! Classic is back!” and another handful complaining about something else that’s useless to complain about, like the color of the grass or sky not being “Halo”.
I agree with you OT. The people here just forgot, that Halo will still feature the classic gametypes. Some of them even forgot that you can give additional points in every Halo game, for doing headshots or whatever. It has always been in Halo, but nobody used it, because why should we give us 10 points for doing one kill? Well, I don’t mind if it is 1 or 10, I just want to have fun.
But seriously, if Halo becomes more and more CoD, then I will be dissapointed, but from what we know so far, it won’t be.
