Has Mendicant Bias been confirmed?

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I visited the forums, so I’m sorry if this is old news.

So last weekend I was visiting a store here in Lisbon and found this Xbox One catalog from Xbox Portugal. A few pages in and I find a small paragraph about Halo 5: Guardians that caught my attention.

And here is the translation:

What do you think? Could it be legit?

I’m not sure, the xbox magazine seems to be regurgitating stuff people have theorized on these forums.

These are the same guys we can thank for the “Storm” covenant.

Unless it’s specifically endorsed by 343i, which OXM or at least this article is NOT, take it with a grain of salt.

Now, while I in now way deny that Mendicant Bias will play a pivotal role in Halo 5, the words “leader of the Forerunner Guardians” completely contradict what we know of him and his last known status.

It’s not OXM, it’s an official printed catalog form Xbox Portugal as far as I can tell. They were in display next to the games themselves.

Its pages contain links to both www.xbox.com/pt-pt and www.facebook.com/xboxportugal.

But still, it could be a mistake in their part.
