Has Jetpack and/or Jumpack been Confirmed?

Anyone know if jetpack/jumpack is going to be in Halo 4. Or is it just Thruster packs?

yes, jetpack has been confirmed. no-one quite knows how it’ll play out or anything though. thruster pack was the replacement for evade not jetpack btw.

I haven’t seen it in the few videos I’ve watched.

Both jetpack and thrusterpack are both confirmed. We don’t even know if jetpack will be available for multiplayer.

jetpack is NOT in multiplayer, or at least not in the e3 build

first off, its say it aint so

second, no one is quite sure how it will work in halo 4 so we can’t really say as to whether or not it would work.

people said that sprint wouldn’t work in halo 4 but apparently it works perfectly well.

I just don’t see it working on a competitive level thats all .

I know how you feel, but at the same time the MLG seem to perfectly happy with sprint (as of now), so the idea that jetpack won’t be good for competitive play might be wrong. like you said we’ll just have to hope for the best. even if it is a gamebreaker they could always remove it from certain gametypes so I wouldn’t worry about it too much.
