as part of the free 15 maps? Because so far out of the free map launches, 4 of them have been forge, plus Im pretty sure two of the upcoming maps antifreeze and entombed are forge maps for a total of 6 forge maps.
Normally I’d assume not. But when they said the game would launch with just over 20 maps, I was excited, until reality hit and it turned out 8 of those maps (orion, pegasus and the breakout canvas maps) counted towards that total.
It also didnt help that the 3 warzone assault maps are just stripped down versions of the warzone maps.
If 343 has not mentioned by now that forge maps are included in the map count, then I am guessing they do count. They would be rubbing it in our faces if they were giving us more maps than promised. Trust me. Prepare to be dissapointed.
Apparently they haven’t actually said Forge maps don’t count. Given that people have been worried about this for a month and they’ve said nothing, I’d say it’s almost definite that they do count. If there’s something we don’t want to hear, 343 makes sure we don’t hear it.
