Yes, and no. But for the better. They took a step backwards from Halo 4 (and Reach) and dropped that stupid -Yoink- loadout -Yoink-, then added something new/different to spice it up. I am very happy with Halo 5, as a semi-pro Halo 3 player.

I agree Halo 4 was a mess but! That was test run for 343. They needed to see how it would work. It wasn’t amazing so they removed it and tried something new.
First game was called HALO: Combat Evolved. Makes sense it would keep evolving.
