A Reach/ODST style firefight has never been part of 343’s game objectives… after Reach, there was no firefight in Halo 4 and it was seemingly replaced by Spartan Ops (remember that?) and with Halo 5 it came well after game launch and only as an adjunct to Warzone and was no where as flexible and fun as Reach…… there has been no mention of Firefight at all in the context of Infinite… 343 has this holier than thou attitude with “their” game modes rather than recognizing that the Bungie created game modes were and still are the gold star of the Halo franchise… rather than giving many options on what Halo players want to,play in their Halo game like Bungie did, 343 seems obsessive about forcing players to play certain game modes of their own creations….I patiently await season 2 and additional game modes but I don’t hold any hope that firefight is on the horizon….

You wear the coatings we tell you to wear, no cross core customization! You play the maps we want you to play, no veto system! You play the modes we want you to play, no match composer! You play Halo the way we want you to, no live service!

Were still waiting on coop and forge.
They wont even answer if forge will be monetized.
There is barely any community interaction at all.
I doubt 343 has even started making a form of firefight.

This needs to be an addon or something at least part of Halo Infinite for sure. Free or to pay for. Firefight is a much better experience than Spartan Ops was in Halo 4.

Co-op was for S2 but it is delayed so not anymore

I think that since a lot of those are gametypes, they got a shot of coming out in a couple of years.
Even if theres been no confirmation from 343.
But firefight and warzone require a lot more. So maybe in 4 years.

Infection/grifball/assualt/juggernaut/VIP/Extraction probably coming sometime in seasons 2-4.
Those I expect to be out after a year or so.
Maybe Season 6 for Firefight/Season 9-10 for Warzone
True, these will be the marketing focus for these seasons, however I wouldn’t expect these type of bigger things for each season.

Well according to 343, this game is supposed to last for 10 years as a live service. I havent seen or heard anything, but just based off of that, my guess is yes eventually.
But eventually could also mean in 5 years lol.
