Has Chief become a new species of human?

Has Chief become a new species of human? What would that species be called?

Judging by the fact that the Librarian changed chief in some way, and the fact that he can survive the Composer, I’d say he’s not fully human.

I like your name by the way, is it alright if I call you Fotus? Haha.

The Librarian didn’t change anything, she unlocked something that’s always been in him. He is after all, Reclaimer.

True.

I never really sat down and thought about this. This may explain why Chief didn’t make an appearance in Spartan Ops. Maybe ONI and the UNSC are really drilling him(maybe even literally) about what happened with the Librarian and how he didn’t become composed. I wonder how Chief will get back in the fray of things? The beginning of Halo 5 just got a lot more interesting to me…

All humans have inactive DNA (junk DNA). The Librarian could have unlocked a certain strand of junk DNA that is in him and of course all humans. So yes, he could be the start or part of a new human species…

Yes i had that worry as well, since he did after all go missing for 4 years, and is a problem in ONI’s eyes. Not sure how though since he saved the human race quite a few times now.Perhaps they want to clone him because he is such a unique human.

Him not being human anymore is unlikely, but instead he is what humans used to be in the past but with immunity to the composer. He is essentially a evolved human with heavy biological augments to further his abilities even further.ONI will want to study him because of this. How that will be explained in Halo 5, we will have to wait and see.

I look forward to what John will be involved in, in Halo 5.This wait for Halo 5 is irritating me to no end.Hopefully some details will slip out soon like concept art and such to hold back my curiosity.

Anyone with the task to activate a Halo ring is a Reclaimer, i hate how 343i is making it look like it’s something only the Chief has been called, there was a marine Reclaimer before Chief, but he was killed before reaching the control room

Wait. So, if he is…and he makes love to another human impregnating them…will a baby chief grow inside of them and grow a super human hybrid?

Later bursting out of the impreg-nee’s chest guns blazing killing coventnat from the right from the womb?

Oh wait wrong franchise… never go full re…well you know the rest of the saying…i know xD

-Yoink!--augmentus-ekseliksi= Augmented human evolved

where are the baby chiefs?

I wasn’t implying that Chief is and has been the only Reclaimer. I know there have been others before him. But yeah.

Whenever Cortana gets back. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
