If you question why you bought something, you can always get a refund. Not so in infinite.
What if you buy on helmet now, and then months down the line they release another one that you like better? You just wasted $10…
All of my statements have to be added up together to derive the full meaning from them. What i’m trying to get at is that selling armors for money has now created a new problem as prices have changed and so has the progression system. Something that never would have been a problem if said armor was available through progression in the first place. Hopefully its better understood now
You chose to buy that helmet. What you are suggesting is the equivalent of going to a restaurant, ordering your food and eating half of it, then you see something you like better on the menu and you ask the waitress for a refund and that you can get the other meal
As someone who has worked at a restaurant I can tell you that is exactly how it goes . It’s also not really comparable. Whereas armors were once free (with the purchase of the game) we now have to pay for armor sets and other cosmetics. And if you want to be a completionist (as you were once able to do) it will now cost you thousands of dollars…
My discipline has afforded me 1 armor piece… It wont be until level 81 that I get my first helmet…
Except I am not. 343 has decided the store prices, what armor/cosmetics go with what, and whether or not they can be unlocked through progression. Hence the dilemma that used to not exist with a reasonable progression system
Um, no. With your logic, you could literally just refund everything and move onto the next item, the game would die within a year or 2 because people would just refund their stuff everytime another item comes along that they like better.
You don’t get refunds just because you want to, steam lets you refund a game that has been played less than 2 hours, any more and you can’t refund
Obviously you wouldn’t get to keep the item… Regardless, it’s their fault with coming up with such a bs system. The whole point is, I should be able to wear all the armor sets through progress, even if they’re available through purchase
