Is there anyway of knowing what to expect, gameplay wise
Total War was their previous instalments. Whether Halo Wars 2 will be like that, we don’t really know.
Halo Wars 2 is going off the original so don’t expect a total war game.

Who knows, CA is more known for their strategy games, like Ensemble. Maybe it will be something like Total War or they will pay homage to the original.
Looking at Alien Isolation, it might be a bit of both.

Yeah pretty much.
I doubt it will come across as “refurbished.”
It’s probably going to be pretty night-and-day in terms of evolved gameplay.
They said they would keep close to the orginal. So honestly I am not sure how the gameplay will be at all
They have stated Halo Wars 2 will not be anything like their Total War franchise, though personally i would like a Halo Total War but only after we get a proper Halo rts game which we are getting hurray. They said they are using Halo Wars 1 as a starting ground. How much they will use from HW 1, we do not know. Personally i understand it as, they are using HW 1 as a building platform but that will be all from HW 1 and will then put all kind of new things on top of it. What i mean is i expect it to not be too similar to HW 1. I expect it to be different as i always say. It’s just how i take it as. We will soon see when E3 is going on hopefully. If they decide to show any gameplay and share any information about the game.
It’s really annoying none of us can’t talk about HW 2 because they have not shared any information about it at all other than a trailer and a few vague images. I literally pop in to the forums about 0-3 times each month to check and maybe comment one time and then leave again for who knows how long. There is really nothing to talk about. I hope we get info next month badly.
Total war games are hot but it’ll be a mix probably
Halo or any modern warfare with the possible exception of WW1 will not work as a “Total War” game.
