I was looking at the description for the harder medals in the game and I saw that Gravemind requires you to kill all the spartans as the flood without dying. This sounds like an impossible feat! If you have obtained this medal, post here! and don’t be humble, brag about it, that is an effort!

According to my stats I have earned it one time. I don’t remember getting it though.

Says I got it, I remember hearing it but I never pay any attention to medals.
I got one on my fileshare. Adrift game, died once then took payback from everyone. I know I have more, but are from games where there just fewer humans.
I have one, but only because almost everyone quit. There were just 3 of us left, I started as a flood and killed the only human. I was awarded the medal.

This is how it happens 99% of the time.
Just got two of them today…
I’ve gotten quite a few Graveminds in Flood. Halotracker says I’ve gotten 8 total so far (apparently #34 in the world). I’ve gotten one in Hivemind, and the rest in Default Flood.
I know I’ve gotten two, maybe more, on the map Solace. The Hivemind map that I got the Gravemind medal was Repression.
I’ve actually recorded two of the clips of me getting both Graveminds and Ancient Ones and put them on my YouTube Channel (note that while the Gravemind medal does say you need to not die, I assure you, on multiple occasions, I’ve died and still got the medal).
I got one earlier apparently.

Same. It was actually funny.

Really? If that’s the case then that makes the medal slightly easier to get, not much, but a bit
Probably not. As I remember I have only played 1 infection game and I rage quit after getting killed by a zombie thruster pack launching at least 25 meters up a wall.
My friend Stetman89 managed to nab one. It was on a match of default flood on abandon. Nailed all of us in under a minute.
I did…once…in a custom game.(may have been offline)
Nope, I believe the highest i’ve gone was 5 kills. yet, I don’t remember the name of the medal. TBH, Gravemind Medal, IMO, is as hard and rare as Thriller medal back in Halo Reach’s Infection game.
I think I got it once when the game first came out. Too lazy to check though.
Sounds like one of the more difficult medals to earn. I don’t play Flood but I’m sure I’d never stand a chance to earn it. Playing as Flood feels too wishy-washy for me.
This question prompted me to look up my medals to be doubly sure. There are so many medals in Halo 4; it’s a shame finding them is so difficult.
The post-game browse is kludgy and the waypoint browse isn’t a UI-wonder, either. Something like that should appear in a “rare medals” register or something in your profile. I think Reach had a similar setup?
I hope Halo 5 brings back all the cool medals like Gravemind, King Joust, etc (and not silly ones like comeback kill). But they must be more accessible in post-game and online browsing.
I’ve gotten it twice before but that was only because I had a crap connection and it cut out all but three players the first time, four the second. So I’ve gotten it twice but it really was just luck.
