Was wondering while I was playing that a few medals have never pop up for me. Like Airsassassination, Sayonara, Ball Kill, Extermination, and Flagsassassination. I have even gone into custom games to do these too to see too. Has someone gotten these medal to registered at all?

I have Flagassassination. I know for Air Assassination, but Spartans need to be airborne. The issue with that is what most people interpret as being in the air is when they hold the assassinate button while the enemy is in the air and the animation shows their Spartan jumping. You have to physically jump before pressing the button. Sayonara I’m pretty sure is glitched or the description isn’t accurate because I should have gotten it a couple times. Same with Ball Kill. There’s only been one time where I was close to getting Extermination but I muffed the last shot.

Sayonara you have to damage an enemy enough to the point when they fall to the ground it kills them. Most regular arena maps don’t allow that kinda height to kill a spartan though

I have gotten sayonara a couple of times from me shooting someone and then they fell off the map.

I have done this several times. I still do not have a single one of it. I feel like it should not be so hard for it to registered or get it.
I have gotten all. (Or at least I think I do) but the sayonara medal I got in customs.

^This is correct. The fall itself has to kill the spartan, not the map out.

It seems though that the fall out of the map should do that. I don’t think I have every been damaged from falling in halo 5. And that is including warzone as well

Only time I have taken damage is in forge where I went is high up as a could then fell as far as I could and only got hurt a tad bit

Which makes it seem that if you have to take damage from hitting the ground a little to much work with the amount of damage that can be taken from that

The medal is broken that’s the thing. When a spartan falls off the map, the fall doesn’t kill him, the kill box for being outside of map boundaries does. So technically he didn’t die from the fall. I’ve never taken fall damage in H5 even jumping out of a banshee.

Then shouldn’t they make it so it does count? Like if a person hits the instant kill boundaries it should award it

Which game type? I use to get them all the time in SWAT back in reach and now I never seem to get them with a Quick overkill
got them all… sayonara was a surprise actually, i somehow hit a guy who had glitched into the east armory in apex 7 (before it was patched) and he ended up dying and i got the medal…
serves that nub right tho…we tried to take over that base 5 times, in order to force them back to home base but it was always at “eliminate enemies: 1 remaining”, shot a random rocket during the 5th time and got the kill lol
