I played someone who was displaying as cutter but in game was Johnson. He also had only 2 supply pads was dishing out non stop units! Also his Johnson wouldn’t take any damage. Infinit shield and health. I’m not a rookie player been playing for years, but this time I honestly felt like maybe a PC mod? Throughout the game was also choppy, consistent studering.
uummm yeah that’s weird. Looked in your past games and sure enough a Cutter did indeed build a Johnson. No clue.
Yeah I’m not making this up. Lol. This was so weird. Like everything was logged as cutter but it wasn’t it was Johnson.
Interesting. Also built mantis and colossus. What leader powers did they use? Was it cutters or Johnson’s?

I often wonder how easy it is to mod or hack this game because ive come accross some shady things. I remember one 2s match i played this hunter captain would send his leader in alone and every time id knock it down to low health it would be back down on the ridge with his army at full health and hed do it consistently and quickly. He was also doing this minutes into the game so it wasnt his teleport ability. On top of that, he constantly knew where my units were moving to and exactly what counters to send. Maybe im just being salty but some unexplained things have happened to me as well
I know there is a visual bug that sometimes displays Cutter at the loading screen rather than the leaders the player actually selected, but the invincible Johnson is curious.
I do know that the Xbox Live services that the PC versions use doesn’t allow matchmaking with modded content, so you can at least be relieved at that.
A couple of days ago i came across a guy that played Forge He stomped my base with 1 Grizzly i Hit him with everything i got and that Thing refused to lose health…

How did we (my partner and me were douong for TW and got this player) where he would constantly say his hunter was low hp ,then imagine if you could drag and drop a unit and he was doing that constantly across the map and my partner n me just decided not to let the guy get a win by just letting the other team win tbh we did report the guy but still sad we got paired with a cheater sadly

Looking at the game history, it does look pretty strange…especially since the Mantis units icon is a hexagon with a question mark in it instead of the actual Mantis icon (unless that’s just a known bug)

Indeed just sad to see people cheat like what do they get fir doing so nothing
Ok, so, this actually happened to me today, but to someone on my team. My friend chose Johnson, but to the rest of us, he was displayed as Cutter. So it wasn’t cheating, it’s just a visual bug likely caused by choosing a Leader right as it hits the 3 second tick (which is where it normally locks down your choices so you can’t switch). Because normally anyone who hasn’t chosen their Leader by this point, gets Cutter automatically, so it would only make sense the game would display Cutter if you bugged it.
PC players, I wouldn’t doubt it. Who knows though

I have not seen this bug yet. I haven’t played HW2 in a while though. I have been grinding H5 to get to 152.
Sounds like a weird bug.
