If you guys remember grunts used to use Plasma Rifles. How are they going to give Plasma Rifles to the new grunts? New animations?
Grunts never used plasma rifles. In the game manual it says they would, but in game they never did.
Grunts are compatible with plasma rifles. They just never spawn with them.
I thought that they always used the plasma pistol.
PP and Needler is all they ever used in the game.

In rare cases some grunts spawn with them, which is awesome.
I’ve been playing the campaign off and on for ten years and have never once seen a grunt with a plasma rifle.
I give grunts plasma rifles in Halo 2!! >=)
I can’t remember if I’ve seen a grunt w/ a plasma rifle without me actually giving it too 'em as Arby in H2…
