Has anyone else noticed?

The word ‘tenacious’ is overused in this game. Seriously, I love this game to bits but I hear this word everywhere.

Governor Sloan to Osiris: “Your tenacity outstrips even my own.”

Locke to Buck: “We’re tenacious, we’ll rebuild as many times as we have to.”

Exuberant to Osiris (about the Warden): “He is rather… tenacious.”

These examples are just off the top of my head. This is my game of the year, but seriously? Tenacious? How is this word even special?

If anyone took this to heart, this is a joke. I wouldn’t care if tenacious was used in every other line of dialogue, I love this game. Thanks 343.

You know, I did notice the word tenacious just coming up more than it probably should have.
I looked up “tenacious synonym” in google and found a lot of good suggestions.
Indefatigable, dogged, steadfast, unwavering, unyielding… spunky… so this is what I think.

  • 343i should release DLC to fix this - Replace the word tenacious from a databank of synonyms to use randomly to immerse me easily. - Game of the year guaranteed.Come one 343i, listen to what the people want!
