Well yeah has anyone acctually honestly gottent their code from xbl yet? I personally think this whole thing is a load of bs. Why? well lets look at this. I payed 60$ for a game and because im not some no life -Yoink- that wants to increase my price of video games to 100$, my gameplay gets massivly limitied. I have been level capped for exactly 10 days now. Why is it that when i buy the same game as everyone else i cant play it as much? Im all for enhancing the gameplay for LE owners but seriously you cant put level caps and then make it so the commendations we get dont count. Its absurd. Then as far as the code goes, i think its just 343 dickin us around. So first they were going to start sending on the 20th. Then its play by 20th and start sending 21st. Then its them trying to push between 20th-30th. And now its BS ANGEL saying by the frist. Ok First off, why isnt there a more formal announcement so that peoples live that arent completely halo know the situation. Also wouldnt you want your community to surely know avout your plan? Why is it that there is only one article from examiner that tells us 343s plans? Then im pretty sure none got sent wednesday, thursday was thanksgiving so no ones working to send codes, friday was black friday and im sure they were quite busy, now its the weekend and i doubt anyones working the weekend to send codes, so that basically gives them monday and tuesday to send out all these codes while theyre coming out with there much needed updates as well… I have a feeling that come the 1st noones going to have codes and this is just 343 pushing us comsumers around again. This game could have been one of the most fun, played, and sold games reguardless of competition had 343 not gone and royally -Yoinked!- up the fundamentals of this game.
Oh and a message to 343… How about stop worrying about profit margins and ways to make money so much and actually come out with a product that isnt a complete embarrasment to me hard earned and spent money. This game had potential but i think the simple ignorance of your pathetic little studio ruined it.
No don’t have it yet and no one I know has one either. Some of my friends just stopped playing because they are level 70 already. If we weren’t playing a beta and had a finished game. I could play ranked with them to get a 50, but no 343 insisted on giving us a beta up on release. cocksuckers

the codes to unlock the rest of the specializations for those who own the standard game who played before Nov 20th.
If you don’t know, we who have the standard game get stopped at level 70 and cant level up anymore. With the LE, you don’t have that issue. Personally I think its wrong, and what goes on in the game, except for DLC, shouldn’t have any relativity to what level of game you purchase.

I will still be playing, although I’m still at a low level (don’t have time to play alot with work and all), so by the time the cap is lifted I probably won’t have an issue.
I think 343 shot themselves in the foot on this to be honest. Not only are they losing the “core” halo crowd to those who think the game is crappy, now they will lose some of the people who think leveling up is everything, and since they can’t level up, why play? Its their own fault. I mean, what is the deal? The LE was limited, so there are obviously more SE owners than LE owners, which means there will always be someone to play with the way matchmaking matches you with like levels. So they aren’t really hurting the SE owners in any way other than lack of specializtions and level cap. Which personally right now at the level I’m at, couldn’t care less for me.

The first few days of release, I XP capped, and I would still play it for hours on end. You should play a game because you enjoy it, not because you think that there is some kind of worth to getting as high as you can as quickly as you can, because there isn’t. I’m one of those low-life Yoinks who “Forked out” $100 for the Limited Edition, but I only just got to 54 yesterday. Whenever you get upset about a game, you just have to find other things to take your mind off of the game, and no, that doesn’t mean more games, that just means getting outside of the house, and more likely than not, doing something physical. Trust me, when you’re sore from working out, the last thing on your mind is a video game.
343 are trying to fix the problems. But these are launch problems which take a while and have to be done right. Otherwise, you will be having even more problems.

I just honestly dont see how a multi million dollar generating game could limit the amount of gameplay because i didnt not feel like paying more. Especially one with such a long following and large fan base. I have been playing since Halo 1. I think it was good bungie sold after reach because that was a horrible game. 343 does have a solid game with alot of potential but thats all… potential. Theres a lot of obvious fixes they could easily make that would be of slight cost to them but would make the fans sososososo happy. Plus the people that are happy with the game now, i fell would enjoy it even more if they took off level caps, introduced a 1-50 trueskill rank, and made a more halo 2/3 ish playlist. Also look at some of the gameplay aspects such as how straifing has changed through the games. I saw a good post on here about that. (wish i remembered who so i could give credit.) Idk it doesnt feel like it was rushed, but rather just a lazy effort to change the game so they could make it slightly their own, slightly like cod, and mostly to make more money. Kind of a slap in the face to a once amazing series. For example, i think halo 2 arguably was what modernized online xbox gaming. I meen yeah there were alot of glitches and stuff but that somewhat jsut added to the game.
With doubleXP I hit the cap nearly every day I played. Getting to 70 in 3 weeks wasn’t something difficult even with a fulltime job. I just want the codes to come through at least a day or two before the end of the month, so I can get the monthly challenge. What’s the point in getting those last few wins to get to 117 if there’s no payout?
The fact that you think spending an extra 40 dollars to get a 25 dollar war games pass, Forward Unto Dawn, and a few other extras makes someone a low life yoink is hilarious. All of that while you cry about what you aren’t getting, and having spent the first 8 days playing as much as possible just to rank up. I was unaware that your rank mattered to anyone.
