Still interested in getting a Steam Deck, but last I heard MCC multiplayer cant be played because of a missing EAC file - or something along these lines.
Can anyone with a Steam Deck confirm if this has been fixed?

Hopefully soon since Valve are speeding up the deliveries so they might get a surge of linux players soon. I’m going to want to try MCC eventually on Steam Deck.
It hasn’t been fixed yet; you can’t play online multiplayer because 343i haven’t enabled EAC when running the game with Proton.
It’s annoying, hopefully they flip that switch soon. The game itself (in no EAC/offline mode) runs great on the SteamDeck for campaign and local custom multiplayer.
