I’m genuinely curious why they made Halo 5 look so plastic and lego-like. What was the thought process? Now they’re doing it again with infinite. I don’t understand the choice at all.
Well that depends, do 343 perceive the graphics as LEGO like?
Doubtful. They make the games and release them, when they are satisfied with the product.
To me, Halo 5 did not look anything like a LEGO product, it had some issues regarding distant animation and over saturation, but nothing akin to a child’s game. Halo Infinites demo was a much older build, than what is currently behind the doors at 343, alas the graphics are not yet finished and once again: I don’t see the LEGO like visuals. The only Halo game ever to bear that, was the cancelled MEGA CONSTRUX Halo game, but that’s just all my opinion.

This is the mega construx game they had to use assets from it to save more of the 500 million budget for their own pockets. /s

How i love the ‘tinfoil hat’ thought process behind this particular comment.
Obviously that is not reality, and try not to throw punches till you have at least seen a BIT more of the game itself. It is too easy to feel dissapointed these days.

It was sarcasm. That’s what /s means. In reality I am underwhelmed but I’m skeptically waiting to see more.
But jokes aside it’s perfectly fine to rag on the demo.

Teen rating. They started with Halo 5 and now it’s looking like Infinite is the too. People speculate it’s the reason why there are no blood splats in 5 and now Infinite.
Previous games had mature rating and weren’t afraid to show blood, grit and gore.
Their target demographic is children. To be fair, Halo 3’s characters and weapons look like live action toys.
