After playing shatter 24/7 (y’know, because people care more about getting in a huge yoinking mech than choosing a good map) i, yet again, voted something different, this time i voted harvest, and somehow, my fellow lobby players joined in with this movement.
Somehow, harvest was actually selected as the map of play in the lobby (thank god) and to my suprise, this is one of the best all round maps in halo 4, not only is it a close range bloodbath in the middle, but there is long range outskirts, suprisingly vehicles that actually improve the gameplay of the map, and in general, the map was brilliant!
I suggest everyone try out this map, its suprisingly a great addition to the gane.
Harvest is defiantly my fav of the map pack. Wreckage is nice too. I just like the round symmetrical set-ups. It really feels more like a halo map than anything else…at least that’s what I think.
I played it once.
It took all my ammo in my needler to kill an unshielded opponent and immediately after that it took 9 shots from my dmr to take down a guys shields then he killed me.

it really doesn’t lol. the map is bigger and very similar to rats nest and rats nest was a btb map.
long sights on the sides, clutter on the inside. vehicles at the spawn of bases. warthogs, mongoose, and ghosts are the only vehicles on the maps.

Well, with something as crazy as that, then your connection just sucks. HARD. Also, theatre isn’t even 100% accurate. I had a friend who thought he killed someone, looked at the footage in theatre and it told him his shots hit. When he checked on his elgato (it allows you to view footage that wasn’t even recorded) and noticed that he actually did miss. So don’t always trust theatre mode, because you most likely DID miss. Or you were spamming with the DMR and the bloom was throwing off your shots.

I thought about the bloom thing to. But i went to his perspective and my first 3 shots missed, ya know the bloom really doesnt really kick in until after that.
Harvest is the best of a bad bunch.
And has by far most potential.
With a little forge and a good forger. I think it could make a fantastic mao for btb and vehicles.
