So, did the Fox robot and his shield inspire Halo 4 developers, or was the Hardlight Shield an inevitable result of the Promethean design?
On a by note, in 2011 someone complained about Cleatus (that’s the robot’s name) toting a “riot shield” on twitter…
I was thinking this exact thing last weakend. Except it wasn’t exact, I was thinking more along the lines of jackal shield.
I have no idea why but I just HATED that robot.

Just before halftime, I think he also threw a Football that looked a lot like the Halo Ball…
And if I remember correctly, it constantly happens that they take something from the adverts, presenting sponsors or some theme and let Cleatus interact with it.
It’s true, the Shield by itself looks more like a Jackal shield, but with the Robot holding it, that never occurred to me - that Robot does look like a Blue Spartan with a football helmet.
