Hardlight Idea

well since the hardlight shield works pretty much like a riot shield in some cases
why not let us be able to place it down. Used as a PORTABLE SHIELD and balanced like the Sentry turret when shot at it will be destroyed until your AA is fully recharged and can be taken down by the user. Would be cool since the Bubble shield doesn’t exist anymore.

If it would get through do you think it would be a good new specialization AA?

what would be a good name for it?
Advanced Hardlight?

EDIT: like the bubble shield it would allow enemy and friendlies to walk through it but will deflect projectiles and grenades on both sides

Why not be able to place it down? Because it was a bad idea In Call of Duty and it is a bad idea in Halo 4.

May be good for Halo 5, but for now it can’t be done as animations can’t be edited through updates.

Because this is Halo, not CoD.
Simple as that. It shouldn’t be in the game in the first place.

But just like how there’s Perks and OP weapons?
This is an Idea inspired by the bubble shield and portable shield (Which if you’ve never played the campaign for any halo) was not op at all and only need a few plasma shots to take it down

the bubble shield (WHICH PROTECTED YOU FROM ALL SIDES) was used in H3 and it wasnt OP? so where is the argument that a advanced Hardlight shield would be copying COD?
because I said it would be placeable? then what about the throw-able equipment?

Yeah I’ve always wondered what exactly they can and can’t do. How do you figure that out?

Nope, i can see that being abused in some form or way.The only thing keeping it balanced at the moment is fact you cant shoot while using it.

better yet like the Shields in Dominion and the rest of what I said in OP

Or as a separate AA to begin with

Here’s an idea…REMOVE IT ENTIRELY!

Halo did it it first so you know, in Halo 3. Deplyable Cover.

If it works just like deployable cover in 3, IE you can’t walk around with it, I would love it.

I wouldn’t know much about it, but it looks like it’s not very popular and I’ve seen it used like twice since H4 came out.
