So in a outrageous stroke of luck i managed to assassinate someone while they were clearly using the hl, my teammate didn’t even try to kill steal, got the medal and all, but the achiv didn’t pop? anyone else have this problem? after this i spent a half dozen games trying to ‘help’ ppl get it hoping someone else would ‘help’ me in return since i already should have it anyway -_- but no one found it in there hearts to do so

I attempted it twice, and unfortunately, i ran into the same problem.
same here, and now i just give my eneimes the achivement so they don’t have to go though the bug
A few of my friends have mentioned the same problem. Really shouldn’t be so surprising considering 343’s history with dlc achievements, but still…
There always seems to be one that’s glitchy. I can’t believe it’s the only one that’s actually hard, though!

I concur, if i recall, it happened to a few previous achievements. I can’t remember the names but i think their were five or six of them with a glitch that you needed to attempt it a second time so the achievement can be registered.
The guy possibly dropped the Sheild half a sec before the assination.

Got it on my first attempt ever.Just now,during Team regicide on Outcast…it was the final kill of the game…some dude was running,must have seen on his Radar a tank was coming…went into HL mode, I ran…jumped…caught him and the deed was done. It’s in my file share 
just got it, somebody let me have it, after all day letting other ppl have it. they got a thank you sent to them. (which i never got lol >.>)
lol im glad I wrote this achievment off as “impossibly lucky” now I see you have to be both lucky and apparently 343 has to like you.

I sent a thanks to the person who let me get it yesterday. I even told them I would pass it on and tried several times tonight but everyone just kept chucking grenades at me.
FYI people if you see someone and they don’t shoot at you and just put up the hardlight they’re trying to give it to you.
i have the same problem but with the I SEE YOU achievement.
a friend of mine has the problem whit the PIGS CAN FLY achievement.
is there a solution for this? i tried clearing my system cache but it does not help
