Hardest Objectives In WZ Firefight

Out of the blue I felt like asking everyone: what do you think is the hardest objective to complete in Warzone Firefight?

One example is what I think is the hardest, the “Defend the Generators” objective on Skirmish at Darkstar. The generators are placed in an area where few vehicles besides Ghosts and such can enter, making defense not as efficient as it could be, and stationary air vehicles like Wasps are at the mercy of extreme amounts of Promethean fire.

Defend the garage on Escape from ARC. Trying to get back inside is a nightmare, even after the phaeton is down. What makes it worse is that half the people I have when that objective activates aren’t thinking about using the roof entrance or side window. They just end up trapped on the other side of the concrete barriers with enormous amounts of Promethean fire coming in.

The three Knight Headsman (with Phateons and friends) at the spire in round five on Apex 7 is a pain.

Getting cross-mapped by a Heartseeker torrent is pretty ridiculous.

I’d say slaying warden. I’ve been playing WzFF and he’s stil on level two. Completed everything else. Just no luck

final round: the 3 knights on apex 7. the baby stuff can be run over by a ghost in the tunnel but omfg the knights (can’t hit them with a tank usually) . and the 5 knights on sanctum that jump around more that a pot of popcorn! the warden on darkstar with 10 or so support elites with rocket launchers, if you don’t have a ghost runnning them down. or 2 tank drivers who don’t know how to pop a tank into the base behind the shipping containers. most levels have issues if there aren’t a few vehicle types and /or people that are familiar with the game play.

if you are not in a vehicle, kill the freaking watchers and elites to protect the heavy stuff ffs.

Oh gods, the Watchers. The amount of times I’ve seen them instantly heal Warden because we weren’t paying attention or we failed to kill them in time. They seriously need to be tweaked to heal bosses slowly over time, not freakin’ instantly.

And OP, the hardest objective has to be Wardens. The amount of times some BS Watcher out of no where or sitting behind the Wardens have healed them…

I say it is only hard when you don’t have any vehicles to use, waiting to use a vehicle, or no other thinks to use one too; vehicles provide added protection from immediate damage to your spartan, have infinite ammo, and most can clear out enemies by running them over. So, for the most part, FF has always been a breeze for me, that is, as long as I have vehicles…

If your skilled enough and fortunate so early, you can actually get a Wraith there over the crates on the left (your left that is), I would do this all the time when facing those 2 mythic knights for the last round.

Defending the Garage on ARC.

the one where you have to kill the grunt goblin and then the hunters

Just imagine how it would be if Watchers were as bad as they were in Halo 4.

Hm. Interesting. And you say you’ve always found WZ Firefight easy? When it first dropped last July you were lucky to even get past Round 2.

TBH, it all depends on the team you get. None of rounds are really hard in Heroic if you have an average or better team, but generally I’ve found that the hardest rounds are the ones where vehicle combat with the bosses are limited. The most annoying would be the ones like on Urban where you have shoot down Phaetons with hordes of aimbot Prometheans shooting at you.

Haven’t played Halo 4 in a long while. I’ve completely forgotten what some of the AI like the Watchers were like in 4.

Forgetting the name of the map, but the one where four Mantises drops into the map while one is inside the Garage.

F*ck that round. Whoever green lit that should be demoted.

They can revive dead knights, but can’t heal other units

How is no-one has mentioned the round two Banshees on Apex yet? They kill stupid fast have shields and spirits dropping constant support and chances are most of the players in the game are only req level two! Granted plasma pistols simplify it but the round itself is complete bs.

  • Defend the Garage on ARC - Mythic Knights on Apex - Mantis bosses on Sanctum - Mythic Knights on Sanctum - Triple Wardens on SanctumBasically any Promethean rounds are a pain in the -Yoink-
