I’ve already beaten the campaign on legendary. But which mission was hardest for you? Exodus was the hardest mission. Especially when it came to all the fuel rod grunts, focus rifle jackles, and fljkd;dlkfj concussion rifle brutes. Even better, they all were across from you in the building. And then the final objective…in my run of it. The Marines completely disregarded all of the enemies. So i was pretty much alone. After the 11 or 12th death, i just said screw it. Went active camo because it took me forever to figure out that was a thing. Went around everything and everybody, assassinated the fuel rod using chieftain (-Yoink- that -Yoink- bag by the Vi) and hit the button just in time. A couple of my buddies told me Long Night of Solace was pretty hard. Not really, for me at least. Only died a couple times in the space battle, and i had little to no trouble in the final bridge battle.
For me its a tie between long night of solace and exodus. Long night of solace is pretty easy up until you land on the corvette, with the first fight being pretty much down to luck and if the elite rangers go for you or your marines. Exodus is torture especially at the part where you have to fight your way to the elevator, with the covenant dug in and the marines who are helping you decide to fight an uphill battle instead of a even ground shootout. Exodus is one of my favorite halo missions of all time but I hate it on legendary.
lol exodus was easy for me because I watched a bunch of guides but pillar of autumn was hardest for me

You…cheeky Spartan
When I did a full playthrough of Halo:Reach in one day I found that Pillar of Autumn was the hardest mission, maybe it was because I had been playing non-stop and Pillar of Autumn was the penultimate level but it took five hours and I wanted to die even though I did, many times. That or Nightfall because I suck with the sniper and Jun -Yoinking!- shot me three times during the courtyard section, even if I didn’t betray anyone.

Oddly enough, i didn’t have that much trouble on the Pillar of Autumn. I think the only part that gave me any remote trouble, were the games only Field Marshall Elites. The duel wielding plasma rifles and stupid rapid fire caught me off guard. Not to mention the invisible Energy Sword using -Yoink- kept coming out of nowhere. So that was fun to deal with.

Maybe it was because I had been playing all day with no breaks inbetween
Pillar of Autumn at the final part.
My hardest mission in general was Nightfall. Took me over 6 and a half hours. Long Night of Solace was annoying in the space part, but not super difficult.
Pillar of Autumn’s last section, with the 5 or so elites was really difficult. Also the 4 hunters in Club Errera.

I hated that part 3 hours just to clear that hellhole.

honestly though, it would have to go to the pillar of autumn, especially when youre on the MAC, its had to dodge the phantoms weapons when you cant even move
Pillar of Autumn
The pillar of autumn by far, that mission was almost as hard as gravemind
I tend to play solely Heroic, but I can without a doubt say Lone Wolf. Good luck killing more than a few elites before dying for good.
Exodus. Never again.
Has to be Lone Wolf! Would play it for hours and hours and still could not beat it
Huh idk. Ive done it a lot on an old account but I always speed run it. But if I had to say one it’ll be long night of solace but that wasn’t unbearable

bu- wait a se…you cheeky waffle house.
Hmm… yea I agree with the consensus here.
However, I find it just so rediculous how easy it is to die in legendary, but of course that’s the point.
I one time was just -Yoink- around with the Falcons gun - the grenade launcher and I launched a bullet into the shield right before the cut away for the spire and died from the explosion. Lmfao.
I believe it was the mission right after Nightfall…
