What do you think the hardest armor to unlock in Halo 4 is? In my opinion, it’s the Protector DRFT.
However, the most time consuming is the Vanguard or Commando in my opinion.
I say commando because dominion games can be very long and if you’re not winning them all it takes forever. I’m at 74 out of 150 to master commando… So close yet so far.

Commando does not take that long, it was the 1st game type I unlocked then I Gungnir from Slayer, then The VanGuard from Forerunner Destroyer.
I have so many unlocked now I cant even recall how I unlocked them like the Ranger Strike! wtf was that for haha
I would have to agree the hardest/most time consuming 1 to unlock will be the Protector Drift.

Player - 100%
Game Types - 64%
so badly wanna get them all done but they are so long and tedious

Yeah, I’m praying for btb heavies and rocket race to finish off the vehicles - lol…I will never get game types completed because I hate the way they did infection. I had over 2k exp in h3 infection but h4 infection sucks.

It’s a shame that Flood is terrible, it seems like the easiest way to get the Commando…

Spartan ops I don’t plan on grinding to much, I just play that for fun when I can right now
Vehicles, yeah same, rocket race especially
Gametypes, I have done Slayer, Regicide, Dominion, and am currently doing CTF, taking forever I rarely win games and join on the loosing team a lot, as for flood, I think I played for one day on release week, never played again so far

-6v6 is terrible for Oddball
-Bad map selection for Oddball
-Lack of players in Team Objective
-This commendation is f*cking stupid
-Enjoy watching locked armors in your armory

I just recently got Dominion but have played so little Flood (not my thing) that I don’t even see the Commando variant in my armory!
Hardest for me are:
- Protector Drift (plasma pistol, bahhh! Give us paintball!)
- Vehicle (mongoose? Give us rocket race!)
- Vanguard CTF (always competitive games, and a team of randoms vs an organized team makes things very difficult.)

Your second hardest armor should be Vanguard Forerunner Destroyer, not Vanguard CTF. I almost unlocked the CTF version in a month, it’s too easy win! However, grinding spartan ops for over 4 months gets irritating and difficult.
Rocket race will only work for mongoose destroyer if you have the mongoose fall off the map. Forge island is the only way that anyone is going to have success getting this commendation if that gametype makes its way back. That said they need to make forge island required, it’s free for -blam!-'s sake.
The ability to drive an enemy (or deserving jerk teammate) off a cliff has been incredibly stymied in this game =(
