Just played 4 games in a row (CTF and Oddball mixed) and almost every game it seemed like my teammates were more concerned about gettings kills than the objective.
So let me just clear it up for some people, getting kills or your precious k/d doesn’t win the game or increase your rank. Winning the objective does!
So for the love of god, pick up the bloody flag, grab the oddball and run like hell, or go play something else. Sick of losing games and dropping in rank cause my teammates are more concerned with kills, or just don’t know what the hell they’re doing.
I’ve noticed it too, although to me, some of it seems to be cluelessness. Really, some of these little puppies just seem to be confused as to what to do next. Keep in mind, it is Super Fiesta. Billed as 'Chaos At It’s Finest"

Oh I get that for sure, as Super Fiesta is what I play most. But an objective game still has an objective to finish the game. Kills mean nothing if you’re not trying to get the objective and win.
Sadly this will always be a problem in any ranked playlist . Best bet is stack up before hand with some good friends and get some good games rolling but I’m sure not everyone has the leisure to do that.

Yeah unfortunately I’m a solo player most of the time, so it’s not as easy. I might just start plugging my mic in and start yelling at these yahoos to go for the objective. Like I would have said to this guy I played with yesterday “Hey! Stop sniping at no one and move five feet into the stronghold, -Yoink-!”
He was literally standing right outside of the stronghold with a sniper, shooting at no one, when he could have captured it. Ugh.
There’s definitely strategic slayers out there, but definitely a contingent of people that simply treat every gametype like slayer. Especially frustrating in ranked.

I agree, I was quite surprised to see it there. That being said, it’s in there and I just wish people would take it a bit more seriously for people who are playing it to increase their rank in it.

I’d recommend getting a group to play with it. That being said shameless plug MGE
