As said in the title. I struggle to find a damn arena game in Halo 5. Me and a few friends have searched at the same time, clearly giving the server enough people to be matched together, yet still won’t match. I have made a video on the problem: Free For All in Australia (Halo 5) - YouTube

-Just never able to find a multiplayer match in Free For All. I also struggle to find games in many other modes but it depends on time of day.
-I have tried asking 343i on their forums but they never reply, and the last time they addressed this issue was 4 months ago. I have reset my network many times, to no success. Tried friends networks with no success.
-NAT is OPEN
(And I also sent them a photo of my network statistics.)

Thanks! Please remove your profile: Xbox Support Then do this Xbox Support & unplug your console, router & modem for two minutes. Now power on, re-add profile Xbox Support & try to find a Free For All match again. Is it taking just as long? ^BD
I am now having to wait till XBOX Support is open in business hours so I can continue to work out the issue. I am hoping a 343 member will notice this and acknowledge the issue and say if they are working on it or not. Halo outside of America is dying, and it’s such a shame.
Feel your pain!! I’m the same. I’m in Australia and can only find games in popular game types. I can’t find any free for all or btb aswell as warzone assualt it’s not my internet because any other game I play on my Xbox is fine.

I’m in Australia aswell, for the last week I couldn’t play arena at all.
Before that I was playing Team Arena and Slayer and Grifball and Social Playlists.
I have such high hopes that 343 do something in the next update.
I hate that us aussies can’t get BTB or FFA matches, both modes which I like the most yet can’t find ever.

This is exactly the same for me plus breakout and even slayer and arena (which i usually find a game okay) have started not finding matches
I an Australian also, and in the Morning, I am limited to war zone because it cannot find me any matches for arena, HOWEVER, my friends list is full of people all around the world so every other time of day there is no lack of matches, and I can easily get popular playlists and most of the time get swat breakout etc
I wrote a whole response before seeing your vid - you really should mention that you are specifically strugling to find games in FFA. I highly doubt that you struggle to find games at platinum 1 in team arean at peak times, for example, because that would mean something is really wrong on your end.
FFA playlist seems to be dead in AUS. Saying that you paid money for it and you deserve to play it is kinda silly in my opinion. What do you want 343 to do exactly, force people to play FFA in Aus?? This isn’t really anyone’s fault, the gametype just isn’t popular plus our population is generally smaller. Also, just because you had other people search at the same time doesn’t necessarily mean that the system is doing something wrong by not matching you. The system is trying to find 6 people who are compatible in terms of a) their connection to the server b) their MMR (including previously attained MMR), and c) potentially other factors we don’t know about. The friends you asked to search with you might literally have been the only players in the playlist at the time, we don’t know.
I understand the frustration, as I love FFA and Breakout, and even Wazone Assault, back when I could actually play those game types. I think it would be worth 343 opening up the region at least just for those gametypes. Given that its open for EU, I don’t see much of an objection to it. At least for a playlist like FFA, its basically the difference between 0 games and some laggy games. In other playlists, like team arena, I don’t really think they should do this, because slow games is often better than extreme lag. But as it stands, some thing like 75% of playlists are just non-options for us. That is kind of frustrating. Especially when I see other regions demanding new playlists. Every time a new playlist gets added, it immediately becomes slower to search the existing playlists (Case in point: for the first time in a long time I timed out while searching for a normal Warzone game tonight, even during peak times. Why? Because everyone is in FF, in which you can find a game even outside of peak times. Previously only normal warzone was playable. After FF comes out, I’m guessing only one of the playlists out the 3 will be playable, but I’m not sure which one. I’m really hoping its normal Warzone, because FF is just stupid easy, and will get boring before long.)
