Has anyone else been experiencing hard crashes on Xbox One X? It’ll basically lock the game up for a few seconds before shutting off the system. It isn’t an overheating issue as the message never pops up upon restarting the console. It happened once today in the middle of a match and once yesterday in the lobby when joining a match. I’ll see if the issue persists when I get my Series X on friday.
It also can happen on the XB1 usually with CE or H3 for me.
I’ve had this happen a few times, 3 times with CE, 4 times with H2A and once with Halo 3.
It’s a problem with the Xbox One operating system, and it’s existed since the system launched. I’ve had Minecraft do it on occasion and a friend of mine has had it happen several times with Fallout 76, as well. Since the problem has existed for so long, it’s probably not easily fixed, and since it’s a system problem, rather than a game problem, it’s not something 343 can do anything about.
I haven’t heard of anybody having the problem on the Series X or S yet, but the system has only been about a couple weeks, so there’s still time for problems to occur.

You might want to sent in a ticket, since the series X is so new, so maybe xbox or 343 can do something about it.
I only had crashes in H2A online coop to operating system/Desktop.

Lmao the monitors reply is a joke. It’s still occurring daily for me, my friends, and anyone else I talk to. They’ve never even addressed this issue in any update or newsletter or whatever you want to call it. It’s just simply never been touched on. Clearly focused on the pc gaming trend and Halo Infinite which is obviously be another failed project by 343i and if you think any differently you’re kidding yourself. MCC has been out over 6 years and they still can’t get it right and they continuously put on updates (which never seem to actually solve anything, only make new problems.) if that doesn’t show anything about company I truly don’t know what does.
