Can someone at 343 unlock them for everyone? Everytime I go online people want to pay me or do a transfer. Lol, wish I could call them all out on here but it’s against rules.
If you’re referring to Blue Flames then 343 have never had the ability to unlock these, only Bungie did and the last time it was available was back in 2011. If you mean Red flames, the only way to get these is buy buying the Legendary edition of Reach. Best thing you can do is just ignore the messages / delete them. Don’t respond
I just ignore them. I’ve had the blue flame and Bungie nameplate since 2011 and as soon as I step into a lobby there’s always someone who sends a friend request and/or message. You just learn to ignore it.

If I were to buy the Legendary edition, would I get the flames code?
Yes, but you would need to find an unopened copy which will be quite hard to find these days

In sure 343 could unlock it if they really wanted to, it would just take way more effort than it’s worth. They would need to pull the effect out of the game files and put it in the store for free. I hope they don’t though, I don’t have it on my current account but it should be left exclusive for people that do have it.

They really can’t. It was a server based unlocked activated by each user through a control panel option on Bungie’s website (or through whatever backend options they had set up). That aspect was never transferred to 343 when they took over Reach and was eventually lost when Bungie updated their website for Destiny. A lot of legacy servers have been decommissioned as well

Sorry I thought it was through the waypoint app in Xbox, it’s been a while.
In 2011 Bungie gift to players the flames color blue
