I imagine in the Halo universe, people are celebrating in front of the statue of The Master Chief in New New Mombasa while the kids dress up like him and shout out his many famous one-liners. A Mardi Gras-style festival that commemorates the sacrifices and the determination of the Chief and the UNSC in their struggle for the preservation of humanity. “Thanks, Chief! We wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for your courage and heroism. You truly are what it is to be legend.”
