Happy 12th Birthday Halo 2!
Hard to believe it’s been TWELVE years since the release of Halo 2 and the birth of Xbox Live. That was the first Halo game I had the opportunity to work on internally at Bungie and my first experience with midnight madness launch and being a part of a massive online global community. From the e3 announce trailer with the “Space Pickle” (the internal name we all had for it) to then having to completely rebuild the entire lighting engine and rip apart huge chunks of the game to the awesome e3 demo where we got to debut boarding, dual wielding, Brutes and more… Halo 2 will always hold a very special place in my heart.

Halo 2 definitely broke the mold for FPS.
So many new features, great storyline, playing the Arbiter’s side, amazing innovation, the list goes on.

happy birthday halo 2 you where the first halo game I ever played.
I think throughout all of Halo 2, that 1 Johnson line is always going to stay with me above everything

Halo 2 is the best Halo hands down in my opinion.

Too bad so much of the content was cut.
Still such an amazing game, forever will be.
