Happens every time. This weapon needs a further lunge distance.

Look at this screenshot to illustrate my point of this weapon’s horrible lunge distance. I’m like 2 feet away from this guy and it’s not red.

Hehe yep. It doesn’t need a further lunge distance because the speed boost you get is nuts not to mention you can boost forward faster. You shouldn’t die at the same time though.

Mate I had that guy with his pants down and just walking front of him for like 3 seconds while 2 feet from his face unable to lunge.

If you zoom in with the Prophets bane you get a insane lunge range

Sword players will have the same problem with the PB that they already do with the regular sword; a skilled player can take them out with any loadout weapon if they don’t play their cards right. The sword is not a golden guarantee for kills, and the Prophet’s Bane isn’t either. You have to play smart, just like with every other weapon, or you’ll be schooled.

In combination with the sprint/thruster pack and ads the sword is way OP. I don’t know what needs to be done but right now you can easily destroy entire teams over and over again if you pick your moments

so true, also patience is most definitely a virtue with the pb. Every now and then, stop, find a corner let your shields recharge (because all that sprinting did them no favours), and resume your infinite (faster than normal) sprint of death and remember to use that thruster pack to compensate for the reduced lunge distance… Or is the lunge distance reduced to compensate for the thruster pack?

I almost forgot to mention… Its a POWER WEAPON… It’s meant to be op

Exactly. The last thing this weapon needs is a further lunge. No way.
