I have a very simple question: Why isn’t there a Hannibal Warthog? Like a Hog with ONI armour, with that awesome laser chaingun that’s on the Hannibal Mantis. Does anyone know why? Hannibal Wasp has been confirmed, why not Hannibal Hog?
If there’s already an explanation, can someone link it? Thanks everyone

Also, I’m not complaining, just curious.
I feel like it would be too similar to the Gausshog. But if it had the automatic railgun like on the Hannibal Mantis and Scorpion with Hannibal armor I would totally be on board with that.

No like a Warthog with the Hannibal Mantis Chaingun on the back (on the boot?). With like ONI armour, high damage, high overheat. req lvl 5.Also, that why I didn’t put Hannibal Gausshog. And Hannibal rockethog would be the rocket launcher thing on the Mantis. Locks on to Everything. And I mean everything.
Seems similar to a Gauss, to similar to warrant its own variant?

So the Vespin Rocket Warthog? Or a step closer where it locks onto infantry too?

Like infantry as well. Oh I forgot about the Vespin rockethog. Nobody uses that.

umm i dont have the link but I think SaneMountain212 has the link. Ask him. It was confirmed a few weeks after the Wasp came out.
This Hannibal tech isn’t what i want in Halo honestly. It’s cool but I feel like there’s just going to be a billion excuses as to why they aren’t used every day and if they are used then I expect there to be reason why they aren’t overpowered which makes it not point for them to even exist.

It’s not like I personally WANT a Hannihog, but i’m just wondering why 343 didn’t include it when they had the update.

I use it all the time, actually. They are absolutely beastly with a coordinated driver/gunner team.

This is how I feel about armor
Hannibal Warthog: Automatic gauss turret
Hannibal Gauss Hog: Smaller version of the scorpions beam gun
Hannibal Rocket Hog: Ion rockets
And then a Hannibal Mongoose! Yeah!
