Why don’t we get refunded our reqs used during matches ended from server issues?? If you quit or its your own internet cutting out, that’s one thing. But this is a game issue, we should get refunded…
This similar thing has happened to me a few times being at SR146 and playing a lot of matches. But last night was the time it annoyed me the most… My best friend who has been contemplating buying Halo 5 after me bugging him to party up for so long, finally got on during the end of the Free Play and played Firefight with me last night… He likes the game but the server issues made him decide “to wait til its $20”…
He couldn’t load his reqs during one match, i told him how that happens sometimes but its not often… So OK, moved on… Next match, everything is going fine, level 4 starts and I roll out the Hannibal Scorpion with him on the laser turret, having a blast. One minute and 40 grunts later, the server shuts down… This is absolutely ridiculous, i want my tank refunded as it was 1 of the only 2 Hannibal Scorpions i had and it left a bad impression on my friend. This is first time Halo 5 has really irked me.
Sorry to hear that. Getting disconnected sucks, especially when I’ve used a few reqs throughout the match and I’m sitting pretty high on the leaderboard. Don’t know if they’ll be able to refund it for you
I had the server cut me out two different times while buying a gold pack with points over the weekend. Needless to say I didn’t get the pack either time. After the second time I quit playing. have not played since.

I have tons of reqs since i have everything unlocked and get back 6000RP for each Gold Pack i open. But its not like i get Hannibal in every pack. 
Just stinks, i wanted to rage it down with my friend with the all the best new stuff i earned to show him and its like getting the rug pulled out from under you.
I rarely have connection issues. You say you encountered a server issue; did everyone in the game get kicked, or just you?

happened to me too, got banned for it
So the server boots you, then you get banned because the server sucks balls . Seems fair.

Because the technology doesn’t exist to tell why you disconnected. If it does they don’t use it. Right now some one could easily then just turn off some thing on their end to quit and claim disconnect.

well, im pretty sure that it is possible to let the game check if you still have connection to the xbox live servers when you get kicked(I have often lost connection to the sevrer but had connection to the xbox live servers)
People who claim they have bans due to disconnects either have a legit problem on their end they don’t realize or are quitters using disconnects as an excuse. Yes I have disconnected from a game every so often but I have yet to receive a ban because I don’t quit games.

I’d like to agree with this but i wouldnt be surprised if he really did get a temporary ban after connection drops given the server issues the game has.
I know how you feel, this has happened to me 2 out of 3 oni scorpions that I’ve wanted to use, although it lagged as I was spawning so didn’t even get to use them.

That gets annoying too. Ive lost many vehicles due to lag freezing up the screen for a few seconds at the worst possible time.
Yeah, a week and a half ago I got banned for the first time on Arena from disconnecting. Kept DC’ing from Warzone as well.
Rather than implementing things to make DC’ing hurt less, they should instead try to eliminate it entirely, cuz it’s been happening a lot lately.

Indeed… It’d still be nice to get my Hannibal back lol
It seems with each passing update, the servers don’t seem to be getting stable enough to host matches anymore. The retrieving data bug is something that has been tormenting me since ghosts of meridian and it’s getting very annoying with passing months. I highly doubt these servers are able to handle the stress of firefight because the largest percentage of my disconnects are in firefight more than any other game mode, close second would be normal warzone from time to time. I’ve lost countless reqs and boosts to this issue and sincerely hope this money hungry company fixes these servers as they sure as hell aren’t exactly at a loss at the moment.
