So, with 100% items unlocked I was able to get all of the Ghosts of Meridian update for around 110,000 REQ points. I’ve played around most all the new weapons and vehicles and here are my first impressions…
HANNIBAL MANTIS
Rapid Fire Gauss Cannon - This is totally amazing. This is now a viable vehicle and does absolute work against bosses especially the Hunters. I took down both within a matter of 90 seconds or so. The gauss cannon is just as powerful against enemy Spartans and can rip through enemies with ease. - The Ion Field Missile Warheads - These are much more powerful than your standard rockets and you can charge and hold for a short period of time to unleash a nice barrage of missiles. - The EMP Stomp - It is nice but I’m just not sure how effective it will be due to the slow speed of the Mantis. The likely hood of you getting anywhere close to another vehicle besides perhaps a passing ghost is unlikely.HANNIBAL TANK
Energy Cannon - This will definitely take some getting used to as it is not as effective with taking down Spartans. Think of it like a Tank with a Spartan Laser attached. It has some spray spread when you move the cannon upon firing but you have to charge each shot (correct me if I’m wrong) and the timing will take some getting used to for sure. - The Gauss Cannon Turret - I unfortunately didn’t have a passenger long enough to test out this turretSUPPRESSORS
Song of Peace - A nice upgrade from the standard Suppressor. It functions exactly like the upgraded Storm Rifle: Faster rate of fire, bigger clip, better bullets. - Razor’s Edge - This uses kinetic bullets similar to the Needler or Blood of Sudan. It is EXTREMELY powerful and can take down an enemy Spartan with a 1/4 of a clip.HAMMERS
Corpsemaker - Comparable to the Ravening Sliver Sword variant. Faster swing and farther lunge. Great for the beginning of a match or perhaps Warzone Assault - Grinder - Comparable to the Vorpal Talon Sword variant. This is quite powerful and can even take down an enemy Ghost with a few swings. - Tartarus’ Gavel - I haven’t been able to use this as of yet but it looks like a lot of fun.COSMETIC ITEMS
Weapon Skins - Sleek and nice looking fo those who like minimalistic design - Visor - Standard blue…not much different than Recruit - Emblems - SUPER COMBINE is the 2nd animated emblem! Super cool. - Armor - Not a fan of checkered armor and the hex pattern is rather obnoxious in my opinion on Mark V. The Dynast Armor looks like an early Athlon variant and the helmet is reminiscent of the Helioskrill.Have you had a chance to play with any of the new weapons/vehicles? Share your thoughts/experiences.
Pretty much agree with everything you’ve written, especially about the Razor’s Edge! That thing may just be the best level 3 req power weapon. It’s maybe even better than a lot of level 4 reqs.
I figured the tank was mainly anti-vehicle and it would eliminate most of the splash damage against Spartans. I don’t see it being a big hit. I’d rather be the gauss gunner
Just played on Darkstar, fought against a Hannibal Scorpion, my impression?
Holy -Yoink-, that thing destroys everything. One shot my banshee lol, it moves faster too, had a very hard time to board it, as I’m the kind of person that tries to take out vehicles, it was hard to catch up with. So that’s good news for people saying they needed better defense. It’s a beast.
If I may add, one of the new Dynast armor skins (can’t remember which) has Swords of Sanghelios’ emblems on it. Not sure who’s idea it was, but man does it look sweet.

The needles on the doll are animated. A shine or shimmer races across all of the needles making the emblem look as though the doll was just hit with needles.

Thanks for the info! I’ll check it out. Good job with your breakdown by the way. I appreciate it.
I can tell you that Tartarus’ Gavel is a beast. Used it combined with a low level over shield added to it and took out the Warden real quick and also destroyed a mongoose from several feet away with 2 swings. Took a video of it too if anyone wants to look, my tag is same as username.
Or Check it out here.
How can you unlock everything in ghost of median update?? Like last update I saved up 13 req packs are 130,000 req points and it took me many weeks to save those points up! And when I opened my packs the nicest thing I got was an uncommon assanation

I absolutely obliterated Spartans with it, it is great at downing them if you have a good line of sight.

You unlock everything in the update by having all the REQs maxed out. When you already have all that’s available then when the update comes out that is all you will get in the packs. I have been saving my points to always have plenty to spare when needed ( like a random req pack offer like a couple of weeks ago ) and after buying all this update had I still have a little over a million points. Makes it nice to get everything when available.
