All I have to say is hang on to those tights. Halo hasn’t been destroyed, it’s been changed. Some of us may not like that, and there are parts of it that even the most “supportive” of us don’t like. But when have we ever ALL liked a halo game (except for CE)… people even had issues with H2. If you get yourselves into the mindset that halo’s death is unavoidable, you are only contributing to the fall.
Yes there are bugs, but what do you expect 343 to patch them all in one day? 343 has patched bugs on a weekly basis and they will continue to do so, these things don’t happen instantaneously… give them a while and things will be patched. As for gameplay elements that you want back, well, halo has changed for better or worse and if you love it as much as you profess you will learn to live with it or leave. I personally have liked almost every halo game since CE, and 4 is no exception.
people have been posting doomsday threads about new big IP’s that are going to “crush” halo, we have seen this before in the form of COD, GOW, BF3, and others; yet halo still stands. It will be just another big IP (Black Tusk’s I am referencing) it doesn’t necessarily mean the end of halo, new gamers join the mix daily.
IF YOUR SHORT ON TIME ONLY READ THIS/ The only one who can make this truly the end of halo is each and every one of you. Don’t blame others, you will continue with halo or watch it die, the choice is yours. You can either be patient or just fess up to not being as possessed with the series anymore and go play another series, it is my belief that others will continue on in your stead/replace you while 343 improves on everything moving forward. If your going to stay to post ideas, and post needed bug patches then be my guest. But quit flaming and whining about change. It’s part of life, every aspect of life in fact, deal with it. If you don’t think halo will die even with you here, then stay and in a few years time we will see what happens.
