Giving players access to a Hang Glider would vastly expand aerial combat. Instead of using a vehicle’s built in weapons like you normally would, you would use regular handheld weapons. If you were wearing a Thrust Pack it could give bursts of speed in the left, right, up, or down direction for added maneuverability. The player would be very exposed unlike most vehicles.
I’m not sure how it would work. I would rather have some type of boat or on water battle. That will add a knew way to play. As far as a hang glider, it would be fine, but I don’t know how practical it would be. I would think that a few bullets will make it fall from the sky…
Is that all you’re good at is getting ideas from other games and putting them in Halo? How about you come up with an idea that isn’t already in a video game, that actually fits with Halo!
To be honest, I’m not quite sure that would be the best thing for gameplay. To implement it in a realistic enough way would be difficult enough. That aside, what niche would it fill for gameplay? The role of an aerial mongoose? I think it would do little other than upset the balance of maps to be blunt.

Good find. Still, for what it’s worth, might as well use a Jet Pack.

Yes an aerial mongoose is a good way of looking at it. Gets your around, leaves you exposes, has no weapons but you can fire handheld weapons while riding.
There is no chance that something like this would make it in. People already complain about Jetpack being OP. I could just imagine the amount of rage this would cause.

Unless you brought real wind into the game, they would then mimic each other
