I really don"t want Hang em’ high. Don’t get me wrong, its one of my favorite maps of all time. But there is already a few really good FW remakes. Unless its something like a second Forge World, then I want Danger Canyon. Or Death Island.

yeah hate the plain look of them… Hang Em’ High is still one of the FW maps I like to play but I’m really looking forward to a new one.
I was a bit disappointed to see that most of the fancy remakes are ones we’ve already had for a while. They look great, don’t get me wrong, but the gameplay’s already been in Reach for a while. I was really hoping for some of the fantastic large maps not really doable with Forge World - like Death Island, Infinity, Waterworks, etc.
At least two is better than none, though; Headlong and Timberlands are both great maps (though I would’ve gone for almost any other large Halo PC map over Timberlands first).

the new battle creek plays so much better than the FW variant of it
I’m not talking about the other maps here, just Hang em’ High. It does look great, I just think that the game would be better suited if it were something else.

while i do agree that the DEFAULT map layout of hang em’ high in halo CE is basically atrocious, it WAS confirmed that EVERY MAP will have extra areas / walkways / map variations to ‘update’ them into a more playable, or different atmosphere. i look forward to seeing hang em’ high remastered to tweak certain problematic areas and some of the MASSIVE choke points that that map has ALL OVER the place.
I love hang 'em high. Can’t wait for some 8 vs 8 battles 
I don’t see why they don’t just remake maps that are IMPOSSIBLE to make in forge world. Sandtrap for example, can’t be remade due to the complexity of the terrain. Same with timberland so that was a good call. Zanzibar can’t be remade as the fan wouldn’t turn etc.

I’m looking forward to seeing Timberland and Beaver Creek 
Both H’EH and Beaver Creek were subpar choices IMO. H’EH because it only works with CE gameplay (‘CE-esque’ gameplay might not even work), and we already have High Noon, which looks a lot like the original, considering the gray and everything. Beaver Creek I always found overrated, and it’s not completely symmetrical, which irks me. I’d have much rathered Colossus and Derelict in their places.

I agree. They should’ve remade a BTB map from CE like Sidewinder or death island. I can see the hang em high remake turning into a “classic sword base” map.

no it’s not and I think many people would love to play this map like right now 
I would have wanted Sidewinder.
there are forge world remakes of everything. if i wasn’t a broke college student i’d grab the map packs anyway now that the TU looks to make reach not only playable, but great.
