Which wins? In Grifball, it would seem that the vast majority choose to use the hammer. I have to admit that it seems to get the job done against the sword. Thoughts?
I remember grifball being like a roshambo type game, sword>ball>hammer>sword, granted it also depends on the skill of the player, a skilled sword user knows how and when to take out a hammer and a skilled hammer user knows how and when to take out a sword
Ball seems to win over sword. Maybe I’m doing it wrong, but I’ve lunged at ball carriers and they seem to beat me pretty regularly.
Hammer is very cool weapon

I agree. Timing with the hammer is much harder than before IMO. Though one thing that hasn’t changed is people not knowing when the best time to swap to your sword is.
Sword Reqs with that Lunge

Timing with sword is make them miss on swing when it hits the ground zoom and lunge, hammer you zoom and better have some good reaction time because its a bull true, or if the sword user isn’t too smart you run and jump over them and swing so you hammer them over the head to kill them

That’s a good point; I was referring to situations like when the enemy ball carrier is swarmed by your teammates and someone decides its a smart idea to rip the hammer. A lot of the teamkills in this gametype could be avoided; the sword is the best tool against the ball and prevents launching them in the air, too.
Real men use hammers. Swords are for -Yoinks!-
