I do feel that the Hammer Storm Update will be satisfying, at the very least. 343 really listened to the community when it comes to fixing the color pallet and all that, plus returning gametypes like Grifball and Oddball.
So this update is really bringing Halo 5 in the right direction, in my opinion. And while there is still a handful of updates to come, Halo 5 definitely needs infection and perhaps a better map selection system, because there is going to be many gametypes to play in a playlist eventually and map rotation can limit that kind of thing.
Halo 5 still suffers from its flaws, and 343 really needs to bring its best game with these updates. If they listen to the community, Halo 5 can improve.

I am also really looking forward to this update. I feel it is a step in the right direction at least. We still need to see Team Doubles and Team snipers no later than March. I’m not sure what is taking so long, but I hope the new playlists will hold me over until then. Fiesta is a fun and relaxing playlist, but its not something I would play more than a few times a week. I can say the same for Oddball and Grifball. But that’s just me. The only playlists I honestly care about are: Team Slayer, Team Doubles, Team Snipers, and SWAT. Those are my top 4

assault will be but i think they said that oddball won’t (at least at launch of the update), they said something like “oddball available to create in custom games”

Yea, which makes me wonder if there are any legal ramifications to them making it?
